Chapter 28 - Almost Caught

Michael's POV

Anita ended up staying with us over night, well, with Calum overnight. She just left because it's about 10:00 in the morning. Not much happened after Calum and her left. Mari was already asleep by 8:00 so she didn't just faint in my arms. I took her to bed a little while later and just went to bed. Luke had to help and she ended up being cold too. We cuddled last night and I love that. I love the way she trusts me to hold her and take care of her.

I walked into the kitchen to see Mari sitting there with some pizza. Yummy! She looked up and saw me come in. Her face lit up and I could tell that I make her happy. She makes me happy too. Early this morning I promised her I will never let anything bad happen to her. She promised me she would never let anything bad happen to me too, so it was a very nice moment. "Hi there handsome." She said. This made blush. "You think I'm handsome?" I asked. "Well, with that purple hair of yours who wouldn't be?" She explained. She bushed and I knew she liked it. I had dyed my hair purple right before the concert yesterday as a surprise for her. She was drugged though so she didn't remember. "You should help me decide what color I'm going to do next. And maybe we could dye your hair again too." I said. I think I sounded a little too excited but I was excited. I wonder if she will want to match with me? "Ok, let's go see what you have done."

I took her to the bathroom to show her these little paint swatches that I have kept to make sure I don't do a color twice. I have done green, blue, purple, orange, red, reverse skunk, a dark blue and so many more. "Wow, you have done so many!" She said. She sounded excited to be helping me dye my hair. "Well, you haven't done white, regular skunk, or..." She sounded out of ideas. I know I was. "What if we do your hair white with a blue patch, or black with a blue patch. That would look cute don't you think?" She said. It did sound good but white and blue might make the blue pop too much. "Black and blue sounds cool." I said. And with that we were off the the Walgreens down the street.

Sky's POV

"That was close" I whispered to Luke. I peeked out of the closet to make sure they were gone. They were so I told him it was clear. "I told you to lock the door." He said. I thought I did. We have been trying to hide this boyfriend-girlfriend thing for only 2 days and we almost got busted. We were kissing in here so that no one would just walk in like a bedroom. "I thought I did, I must have bumped it earlier or something." I said. I felt bad and he must have noticed because he pulled me into a tight hug. "We could resume to where we left off..." He said. I can't refuse him so why not. It was about to become a full make-out session until someone knocked on the door. "Sky? Are you done in there yet?" Ash said. I panicked "sorry, lady problems" I said. Luke held in a laugh. "Ok...never mind" he said. As soon as he was gone I could tell that the moment was ruined. I started to go to the door and leave when I was picked up and set on the counter. "You don't think you can just leave that easily do you?" He said. He stood between my legs and I just wrapped them around him. Maybe this moment would last a little longer.
