Tari X Meggy: One Shots

Friendly Reunion

Everyone stares at Lamar in silence. Well- everyone except Mario since his eyes were in two separate directions.

There was Belle still on the floor, shocked but alive. Meggy by Tari's side, and Lucks on the other side of the room, slowly standing up.

"Sorry bout that, Mr. Bad Boss. I had to step in." Lamar said with a sly smirk, bringing out a button of his own and pressing it, the collar around Belle's neck deactivating and falling to the ground.

"I-I can't believe it! It's you! You're here! Look, Meggy, he's here!" Tari was happy to see a friendly and familiar face. One that WASN'T there to kill her.

"Right- uhh...who is 'he', exactly?" Meggy raised an eyebrow, watching the dark male carefully. Tari was happy to see him....maybe too happy.

"One of my friends I mentioned in my story, silly!" Everyone else in the castle didn't know what to say. They've seen a crazy dude threaten to kill someone, then said dude getting launched across the room.

Lamar waved at everyone before helping Belle up and grabbing Luck's nearby pistol, aiming at him. "It's over, man. You ain't hurting anyone anymore." Lucks stood up, holding his side and laughing quite menacingly.

"I don't think you understand the situation." He says, looking at the various Meta Runners and video game characters before him. "I came to take a life for revenge. So one way or another, someone has to die."

When he finished, his guards came in with their electric sticks, zapping Tari, Meggy, Saiko, Luigi, and Mario. The rest were left standing, including Lamar, who was surrounded.

"There's like five guys over here!" Saiko exclaimed, not having the strength to stand back up after being electrocuted.

Tari laid on the floor in pain before quickly sitting up, looking at her girlfriend to see if she was okay. But...Meggy was unconscious. Whatever she was hit with was different than what the others were hit with.

"Meggy! Come on, get up!" Tari pleaded, trying to crawl towards her before getting zapped again.

Lucks was laughing as he stepped towards Lamar, who still had the pistol aimed for his heart. "I suggest you put that pistol down before more than one person ends up dying today."

Lamar stayed silent for a second before eventually dropping the gun. "You're not gonna get away wi-"

"Ohhhh...my STOMACH!" Lamar was interrupted by Mario's dumbass, laying on the floor in pain.

"I'm sorry, how does he have a different voice sometimes?" Lamar asked in confusion, taking a tiny break from the seriousness.

"It's complicated." SMG4 answered, one of the only people left standing. Belle stood quietly in the far corner, looking at her Meta Runner arm.

"As I was saying, I plan on getting my revenge one way or another." One of Lucks' guards kicked the pistol towards him, and Lucks picked up the weapon, aiming for the unconscious Meggy.

"I think the girlfriend would be the best choice." That earned a panicked scream from Tari.

"No! Don't hurt her!!"

"You ain't gon TOUCH my girl's girl, man!" Lamar spat before punching a guard and running towards Lucks, only for him to move his aim from Meggy to Lamar pulling the trigger.

The silent bullet went into Lamar's chest, surprising everyone in the castle.

"LAMAR!!!" Tari was holding the unconscious Meggy in her lap,.

"No!" Belle finally spoke up, her hands covering her mouth. Lamar slowly looked behind him, smiling to everyone before slumping to the ground.
