Tari X Meggy: One Shots

Let's get started!

So recently, Meggy made it to the semifinals of the Splatfest....without a team. Luckily, Tari had her back.

Meggy: I can't believe you guys would do this for me! Especially after how I treated you last year. 

Tari: It's okay Meggy! It's a new year. Now we need to train! We don't have long!

Mario: When do we go splat people?

Meggy: In two days. For now, we train!

Luigi: Let'sa go!

Meggy takes the group of four to the Splatfest training arena.

Meggy: This won't be like last year. No obstacle courses, no killer fish, just weapons, bombs, and paint.

Tari: Well that seems a lot simpler. 

Meggy smiled and hugged her girlfriend.

Meggy: It'll be okay. I know with you guys on my team, we can do this.

Tari hugged back.

Tari: I know we can.

Luigi wiped a tear.

Luigi: It's times like this I miss Saiko.

Meggy: It'll be okay. She'll be back.

Saiko had went to Japan to see family. With the help of Kamek, she actually had one besides the SMG4 cast. She's been gone for a couple of weeks.

Mario: Let's do this! I'm about to splat some bitches.

Meggy laughed.

Meggy: Okay Red! Like the attitude! Remember, keep your defense up! Tar, try and think of it as a game! Weegee, remember to dodge! Your accuracy in shooting is already good. Now, spread out and get ready for battle!

Everyone ran separate directions. Meggy ended up taking the high ground. Tari went to the little base across the arena. Luigi and Mario stuck together. Meggy saw Tari in the small base. She chucked two bombs in there. They came right back! Meggy had to jump from her spot to avoided being in the explosion of paint. On her way down, she saw Luigi. She splatted at him. 

Luigi: Waaah!

He jumped out of the way and exposed Mario. But he wasn't moving. Like.... at all. Meggy smirked.

Meggy: Easy kill.

Meggy fired at the stationary cross eyed plumber. Just as the paint hit him, Mario fell backwards. IT WAS CARDBOARD!!! She felt breathing behind her. She turned to see the barrel of a Splattershot.

Mario: Looks like you are DED.

Mario fired. Meggy was the first one out! After she cleaned the paint off of herself, she watched the rest of the fight. If Mario or Luigi eliminated Tari, it would be a 1v1. All of a sudden, Tari came out of the base. She didn't look scared at ALL. Normally Tari would be TERRIFIED of these sorts of things. Something was up. Then, Meggy realized.

Meggy: Her arm. She activated SOMETHING to help her with. She HAD to.

Mario and Luigi fired with all they had at the cyborg. She just giggled and flipped out of the way. She landed and shot, leaving Luigi's face blue. 

Meggy: Luigi's out! 1v1 against Tari and Mario!

After Luigi cleaned himself up, he plopped himself next to Meggy.

Meggy: What happened to your dodging skills?

Luigi: It's easier with music. I also didn't know she was gonna shoot RIGHT after she landed. But, we aren't always the best. I wasn't gonna win anyway.

Meggy gave her disappointed friend a hug.

Meggy: You did amazing nonetheless. I believe you can do it in the Splatfest. Just keep your chin up.

Luigi: Thanks Meg.

Meanwhile, Mario and Tari were staring each other down. Tari was the first to make a move. She shot at Mario. He did the same thing Tari did. He flipped out of the way and landed with a shot. Tari was a bit quicker than Luigi, and dodged at the perfect moment.

Mario: Mamaf*cker!

Mario looked back but lost sight of Tari. All of a sudden...

Tari's gun was on Mario's back.

Mario: Aahhh.. piss.

An hour later, Tari was pronounced winner. It took a little longer because paint was on Mario's clothes.

Meggy: Congrats sweetie! You did it!

Luigi: Hey, thatsa pretty gud!

Mario: Oh, you so gud!

Tari: Thanks guys! What do you say we go eat some spaghetti? A hard day's work should pay off with some food!

Mario: YYEAAAAAH BOOIIIII!!! YEYEYEYEYEYEYE BOIBOIBOIBOIBOIBOIBOIBOIBOI!

Meggy: Did he make that song from Coconut Mall on purpose?

Luigi: I have no idea.

As the four walked off, Meggy had a new feeling in her heart. The feeling of hope.
