Tari X Meggy: One Shots

One Month Later...

Tari woke up to a ray of sunshine hitting her face. She was used to it. Her bed in the opposite of Meggy's, so it was by the window. Living with Meggy for pretty much a month, was the best month that Tari has EVER experienced. They're at the point now where Tari goes back to Silica City just to visit! Being in the SMG4 cast was also amazing. It's an experience that she's glad she's experiencing. As the time went by, Meggy and Tari's feelings for each other deepened. All that was left for them to do was tell each other.

Tari looks over at Meggy. She was already up, and on her computer. For some reason, Tari heard her voice in her computer. 

Tari: Meggy?

Meggy slammed her computer shut. She looked like she'd seen a ghost.

Meggy: Oh! Tari! Hey! Um, I didn't know you were gonna be u-up so soon.

Tari: Were you watching Meta Runner?

Meggy: No! Of course not! I mean, that would be weird....

Tari felt like this would be the best time to tell Meggy her feelings.

Tari: Meggy, can you come over here for a second? I have something to tell you

Meggy didn't know what to expect. Maybe she was leaving. Maybe she didn't want to be friends anymore. Maybe she liked someone who wasn't her. Meggy kinda expected the worst.

Tari: I've been here for a month now, and there's been something I want to tell you. I always kept it to myself, because I don't know if you feel the same way. But here goes.

Tari inhales, ready to spill the news.

Tari: I really like you. Ever since we met at the pond a month back, ever since you grabbed my hand..twice... I've been having feelings for you. If you don't feel the same way, I'm sorry I made our friendship awkward. 

Meggy gasped. She was so happy, she couldn't contain it. She had never felt so happy to hear ANY words before.

Meggy: Tari! I feel the same way! I was just too scared to tell you!

Tari and Meggy lock eyes. Tari can feel her face getting closer to Meggy's. Their lips are inches apart until Mario opens the door. Nah, I'm playin. I wouldn't do that. After a few moments, they share a deep kiss. Tari has never felt so comfortable near ANYONE like she did Meggy. Meggy couldn't have been more happy to call Tari her girlfriend. But now that they've expressed their feelings, what's next?
