Tari X Meggy: One Shots

Game on!

 Tari opens her eyes to the sound of voices. That's everyone on the mic, getting ready for battle.

Lamar: Yall goin DOWN!

Sofia: Not if I have a say in it!

Tari freezes. The sound of Sofia's voice. She starts thinking back into the car where Sofia seemed to cuddle up to her. Tari told herself to snap out of it. Sofia was IN the game with her and Theo. All she had to do was hold Tari's hand while Tari pressed the button to get in the game. They had done this before, so it was no problem.

Tari: Come on. Cuddling Sofia was a one time thing. You can do this Tari.

Masa: Is everyone ready? We all have our teams. Tari, you have Theo and Sofia. I have Lamar and Meggy. 

Meggy: Let's do it!

Sofia: Here we go!

Lamar: Ready, Freddy!

Tari: Born ready!

Theo: Crackerjack!

Masa: Go!

Everyone scatters. Once everyone gets a weapon, they meet up.

Theo: Screw this! I'm going solo!

Tari: Theo! Free for all is NEXT round! We need to stick together! 

Theo: Nah, that's lame.

Theo runs off.

Sofia: I guess it's just you and me Tari.

Everyone was playing in different rooms. Except for Tari, Theo, and Sofia. Once the game started, only teammates can hear each other. But since Theo ran off, only Sofia and Tari could hear each other.

Sofia: Since we have a pretty good hiding spot and decent weapons to defend ourselves with, I think we're okay.

Tari: Great!

Tari looks over to see Theo banana mine Meggy, and for Meggy to jump out of the way and shoot at Theo. Tari turned back around to see Sofia's face inches from hers. They lock eyes for a moment. Tari was thinking about telling her about the relationship. Otherwise, she'd be cheating! But, in the afternoon, she and Meggy were gonna go back home, so she guess as long as things didn't go extreme.... Because Tari already liked Sofia before she left to the Mushroom Kingdom. As she dated Meggy, the feeling went away. But then, that car trip. Not to mention Masa knows.

Tari: Um, what're you doing?

Sofia: Nothing!

She backs away then turned around to shoot Meggy. She got a couple shots in before leaving the base to go fight. Tari did the same. She went after Lamar. Lamar was shooting at Theo. Tari thought that was an easy kill. All she had to do was sneak up behind him and put a couple bullets in his head. And that's what she did. But before she could pull the trigger, Masa shot at Tari, forcing her to flee to the nearby building.

Lamar: Hey, thanks Mas-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

He had gotten banana mined. 

Theo: Take THAT foul BEAST!

But Theo didn't know that Masa had a sniper. BANG! Theo was out, along with Lamar. Then Sofia came behing Masa and eliminated him with a grenade. Then Meggy injured Sofia before Tari shot at Meggy. Meggy fled, and Tari dragged Sofia to the base. 

Tari: Sofia! Do you have meds?!

Sofia: No. I'm slowly dying. But, before I go...

Sofia kissed Tari. Literally in the game. So it was basically real life. Tari didn't know what to do! So she did the one thing she hated herself for. She kissed her back. After all, Sofia was her first crush. But that didn't make it okay. They kissed until Sofia faded away back into the real world. Luckily, everyone was spectating Meggy because she killed someone who killed another person. So no one saw what occurred. Tari ran into the open to see Meggy waiting. They were the last two alive.

Meggy: So it comes down to this.

Of course, Tari couldn't hear Meggy, because they weren't on teams. But they were thinking the same thing.

Tari dives off to the left. Meggy shoots at her, but no bullets connect. Meggy fled to a nearby building. Tari saw Meggy place proximity mines. No one could get in, no one could get out. Tari had to think of a plan. Meggy wasn't going anywhere. She'd blow herself up. But then, Tari remembered what Masa did to her so long ago. Grenades. Tari pulled one out of her belt. She pulled the pin, said a prayer, and tossed it in. 

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The grenade blew the proximity mines, killing Meggy and winning the game. She won! She did it! Tari felt herself going into the real world.

Lamar: Tari! You did it! I can't believe it!

Sofia: I knew you could do it!

Meggy: Good game Tari!

Masa nodded approvingly. 

Tari: I'm too tired to do another one. I think it's about time Meggy and I get home.

Sofia: We understand. Come back soon, okay?

Lamar: Yeah, don't forget about us!

MD-5 gave did a group hug. 

Meggy got a hug from everyone separately. 

Once they got home from a long trip, they got ready for bed.

Tari: Are you ready for your reward?
