Meggy was on her laptop in the kitchen scrolling through events that she and Tari could do together. She saw something that caught her eye. It was perfect! She and Tari could go to a festival!
Meggy: Hey sweetie!
Tari came in the kitchen. She had been doing the same thing Tari was doing.
Tari: What's up Meg?
Meggy: I found something that we could do together!
Tari: Really? I had just been doing the same thing!
Meggy: What'd you find so far?
Tari shrugged.
Tari: Nothing really. I found a fishing trip, but you can't really touch water. And we would be on a boat, so it would be extra dangerous. So what'd you find?
Meggy showed Tari the computer and smiled.
Tari: A FESTIVAL?! YOU FOUND A FESTIVAL!?
Meggy: Yup! I know you always wanted to go.
Tari screamed and gave Meggy a deep kiss. They were happy to stay in that position, but the doorbell rang. Tari opened the door to see everyone's favorite Italian cross-eyed plumber.
Tari: Hey Mario! What's up?
Mario just stood there looking two directions. Tari just picked him up and brought him in.
Meggy: What's he doing here?
Tari: I don't know. I opened the door and greeted him, but he just stood there.
Meggy: Oh. Should we bring him with us? He never really goes anywhere.
Tari: Sure, why not? I'm pretty sure he'll be okay.
Mario then jumped up.
Mario: Oooooh. Imma light headed.
Tari: Hey Mario! Wanna go to a festival with us?
Mario: What's a festival? Is there food there?
Meggy: A festival is basically a carnival but better. Well, in some cases.
Tari: I'm also 99% sure that there's food.
Mario: Yeah! Hahahaa!
Tari: Well, when can we go?
Meggy: Right now! We'll have to drive. It's a little far.
Tari: That's okay! I'll drive. Does Mario need the double strap?
Meggy: Nah. He'll be fine.
Everyone got in the car.
Tari: Does everyone have money?
Meggy and Mario nodded.
Mario: Um, Tari? Why do I have to sit in the back?
Tari: Because Meggy's in the front. Unless you wanna sit on her lap...
They both shook their heads no super quickly.
Tari: That's what I thought. Buckle up everyone!
After they were buckled, Tari drove to the festival. Once they got there, they passed the small sign that said "Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom Traditional Festival!"
Tari: This is gonna be good!
Mario: I hope they have spaghetti!
Meggy just looks at Mario. She loved this guy. Tari parks right outside the festival. She grabbed Mario's hand and walked in the festival.
