A Fresh Start

Onyx's POV.

I woke up next to Atalia the next morning. She was already awake and doing what looks to be homework. Distracted and lost in her own world I don't think she realized that I was up. I smiled at her and laid my head back down. I'll just admire her, I might even draw her later. Committing her position and the way the early morning sunlight bounces off her face to memory. She's so beautiful... gorgeous... breathtaking.

The next thing I know I'm waking up again to Atalia rubbing my back and whispering to me.

"...wake up love... it's time to get up baby.. wakey wakey... I'll take you to get breakfast," she whispers.

"I'm up!" I say popping up and smiling at her.

"I see that." she laughed "cmon let's go wash up then we'll go to this really nice diner near my house."

"Okie" I rolled out of bed, literally. Getting up off the floor I looked over to Tali and smiled.

She shook her head at me and held her hand out. I took it and followed her into my bathroom. Atalia undressed and started the shower first.
While she was starting the shower I tried my hardest to not stare at her. Atalia walked over to me and undressed me as well. Starting with my socks and making her way up to my bonnet. She walked to the shower and got in then smirked at me and said "Now, you know I'm not just your mommy. I'm your girlfriend as well and if you'd like to look you're more than welcome."
I blushed and made my way into the shower. with my eyes still avoiding her nakedness. I've already seen her naked but for some reason, I'm extra shy today. we washed quickly and got out.

  She told me to brush my teeth while she picked me an outfit. I just nodded and started brushing my teeth. After I washed my face then I slicked my edges down since I felt like keeping my braids in.
  Walking into my room I saw an almost dressed Talia, my outfit laying on the bed next to her, my lotion, and perfume she picked out. She blew me a kiss and walked into the bathroom to finish getting ready. I moisturized and got dressed. She picked out a blue matching bralette and boyshorts combo. For the outfit, I had black biker shorts, a white tank, and a baby blue jacket.
  By the time I was done getting dressed Atalia was walking out of the bathroom. Her blonde curls slicked into a bun showing off her freshly designed undercut. She had also recently put a slit on her left eyebrow.

"Ouuuuweeee you look, good baby," she said kissing my cheek.

"Thank you, mama. you don't look too bad ya self" I giggled and walked to my dresser. "Did you bring socks today? or will you be stealing mine again?"

"Hey. that was a one-time thing I have my own. now hurry before we miss breakfast" she scolded.

"Okay okay, I'm hurrying" I rolled my eyes but smiled as soon as I turned around.

"Watch it, little girl. I'd hate to miss breakfast just to leave a handprint on that ass" she said.

  I didn't respond I just grabbed a ruffled pair of baby blue socks and put them on. Atalia packed her things and our phones into my white and blue purse and then walked out of my room.
  I followed locking my door behind me. At the door, we put on our shoes. I wore my white air force 1s.

  Looking over at Tali I smiled. She makes me so happy.

"What you looking at?" she sasses knowing I'm looking at her.

"You, goofnut," I said.

"Yeahhh I know but why?" she asked leaning back onto the seat and driving with one hand.

"Cause you're cute," I said smiling.

"Just cute?" she glanced at me with a small smirk on her face.

"Yup," I said popping the p and giggling.

"Dang, and to think I tried to look sexy today" she laughed.

"Wellll now that you mention it you just might," I said leaning on my hand and looking her up and down.

  She wore black forces, dark blue jeans, a black wife beater, white and dark blue windbreaker, and I could see the light blue band of her boxers peeking above her jeans. She really did look good. Her chain, nose ring, and earrings are all shining in the sunlight. I'd been teetering the line between big and little all morning but looking at her right now. my big mindset definitely won. My mind surrendered to the dark side.

"Stop looking at me like that, yeah? I'd reallyyy like to make it in time for breakfast love." she pulled my lip from between my teeth and pecked my lips.

  I blushed, dropping my head I turned and looked out the window. We were parked. I had been so distracted that I didn't realize where we were. Atalia laughed getting out and walking to my side. I grabbed my purse and took off my seatbelt waiting for her to open my door. She grabbed my hand, helped me out, and to the door.
  We walked in and were immediately greeted by the hostess. She asked if we want a table or booth. I of course choose the booth. We were seated next to the window in a corner.
  I've never been here but I'm assuming Atalia has. She didn't even open her menu just turned to the back and looked at the drinks. I've determined that this is a country-style cooking restaurant based on the atmosphere and menu. I told Atalia what I wanted and she ordered for us when the waitress came over.
  While we ate we talked. Small things like more getting to know each other questions. She told me things about her. For example, she likes when I match her(i had picked up on this), when I let her do my hair, to buy my things even if I can afford them, she prefers to drive than ride, and much more. I told her more about myself. We got here at 11 it's 1:30 now and we're just talking so we left.

  We decided to go to the mall, then the park and we got ice cream. On the way back to my house she stopped at her house and went inside. she took the bags she got from the mall in and came back out with some clothes, 2 pairs of shoes, and a backpack. She put them in the back and pulled off.
  I glanced into the rearview mirror and looked at the backseat. Other than Atalia's stuff I had five bags back there. I only paid for one. I tried to pay for more than that but she wouldn't allow it. Not that I mind, the gifts I got her are still in my closet. Plus I have 6 bags for her. she might not like that but I don't like for her to buy everything for me when she doesn't have to.
  It's around 9 and we haven't eaten since we got ice cream on our walk through the park. I told her she owed me chicken after the walk cause I didn't want to walk. It was too sunny today but she insisted. We had a long day. I'm tired and I know she's tired especially since I made her give me a piggyback ride.  I assumed that she forgot the promised chicken but I decided to let it slide. turning in the seat I closed my eyes just listening to music.

"We're here. wake up so we can eat, shower, and go back to sleep love." Atalia said shutting off her car.

"Eat?" I mumbled rubbing my eyes.

"Yes, eat. I have the bags you just go unlock the door and sit at the table. okay?" she said handing me the keys.

"Otay momma" I whispered.

  Doing as she said I laid my head on the table resting my eyes.

"O!?" jay said.

"Huh!" I jumped up looking around.

"What you doing down here go get in bed sis," he said

"Waitin for tali" I mumbled dropping my head back down.

"Oh..." jay said walking off

"Thanks, bro," Talia said, "Cmon love up you are let's eat."

"The bags?" I asked eating a fry from chick-fil-a.

"Jay took them to your room," she said.

"Door locked"

"I also told him to take your purse. I know lovely"

"Oh," I mumbled finishing my fries and starting my chicken nuggets.

"Sleepy?" Atalia asks.

  I said yes and she nodded. we finished up our food and showered in silence. She helped me get dressed for bed and turned on my music laying down next to me. I cuddled into her side and she slipped me my paci.

"Goodnight princess," Atalia said.

"Goodnight mommy" I whispered.
