A Fresh Start

  I walked out of the class and back to my locker to grab Solanas and my lunch. I then walked to the end of the hall and got on the escalator. I decided that it was taking to long and went to the elevator instead. The school has 5 floors plus a basement and roof deck. The classroom Solana and I are eating in is room 502. That's our uncles' classroom he teaches ethnic studies.

When I get all the way up there I walk straight to his class and since the door is locked I knock. He answers the door and walks back to his desk after telling me to just leave it open.

"Heyyy uncle James" I sat with a sweet voice.

"Girl what do you want?" He says while running his hand across his face.

"Who said I wanted anything, maybe I was just saying hi?"

"Yo tone of voice said you wanted something now what is it?"

"Well, I kinda sorta maybe just a little bit told some new friends if they felt like it they could eat lunch up here with me and Solana," I said while batting my eyes at him.

"Onyx really! You know I like silence." He says slightly annoyed.

"I know I know but we won't be loud I promise. Please please please"

"I guess but if y'all get too loud I'm kicking ya out."

"Thankss you tha best," I said and gave him a quick hug

I sat down in the back and texted Lana cause she taking forever.

  Lana walked into the class said hi to our uncle then walked to the back where I was. I handed her her lunch and then we started talking and eating. After about 5 more minutes the group I invited walked in and came back to where we were sitting. They said hi to my uncle but of course, called him Mr. Zarrow instead.

"Hey, Onyx," they all said in unison.

"Who's this?" Asked Nish.

"This is my sister Solana. Solana this is Nish, Milani, Armon and Armani, Trey, and Zamir." I introduced them in one breath.

Then we all finished eating. After we were all done and threw our trash away. We started talking and exchanging numbers. I told them about the "joke" that one teacher said and they were all pissed. Solana especially her ass was heated.

"Bitch he said that. If I was you I woulda went the fuck off." Solana ranted.

"Man, that nigga ain't shit," Trey said.

"Anyways let's change tha subject. Y'all seen any hotties yet?" Mimi said.

"Bitch yo ass always talking about niggas," Zamir said.

"Ahh, not always I be talking bout bitches too." She said back.

"Yeah with ya gay ass," Nish said while laughing.

"Only half bitch," Mimi said.

"What about the rest of y'all what y'all like? I'm straight tho" Armon said.
