chapter sixteen

We get up early the next morning for the Mr. Beast video.

The video was a big game of capture the flag. My team consisted of Karl, Quackity, Sapnap and Chandler. We didn't win, but we definitely had the best time.

We all decide to hang out after the shoot to go get dinner and watch a movie at Karl's house.

We end up going to a local steakhouse in their town. I sit next to Sapnap. He helps me order my food since I have no idea what to get at a steakhouse. We talked for the majority of the night.

At one point, I'm laughing about something he said and glance up to meet Alex's gaze. I give him a funny face and continue talking to Sapnap.

I meet Alex's gaze again and mouth to ask if he's okay. He gives a little nod.

Sapnap, Karl, Alex and I all ride in the car back to the house. I sit in the back with Alex.

I nudged him with my elbow. "You sure you're alright?"

"Yeah, just super tired."

"You can go to bed when we get back if you want."

"Maybe. I've already seen the movie anyways." I notice that he gives a little look at Sapnap.

I squeeze myself between Sapnap and Alex. "You guys are both so warm."

"It's because we're both super hot." Sapnap smirks.

I roll my eyes. "Whatever makes you feel good about yourself."

Alex falls asleep almost immediately during the movie. I put a blanket on top of him, but try not to bother him.

I must've fallen asleep because I wake up one Sapnap's shoulder.

"Oh sorry, Sapnap, didn't mean to do that I whisper." The movie looks like its almost done.

"Ew, please call me Nick irl."

"Okay, Nick,"

He gives a little chuckle.

I settle back into his shoulder for the rest of the movie.

Alex stirs after the movie is over. Everyone was just sitting on their phones, not really talking.

I glance over to see him giving me the same look he did at dinner tonight. What is his problem today?

The next day....

We all slept in this morning. Today is our last day and we all depart tomorrow.

I'm definitely going to miss hanging out with all of them. I'll be especially lonely since Alex is going home and I'll be all by myself at my apartment. Maybe I should get a pet to keep me company.

Nick and I are hanging out in the kitchen, and Alex is upstairs doing homework for school.

I make some coffee, which Nick denies. I'm pouring it into my cup when Karl comes running down the stairs . 

"We should take some meetup pictures." Karl suggests as I sit down on the couch with my coffee.

We all agree and get ready to take pictures. I wear a white tank top and jeans.

We take group pictures and some pictures of people separately.

"Let's get some pictures of Quackimoo!" Karl says.

Karl acts as a professional photographer as he poses us for the pictures. After a while he says, "Let;s have you kiss her cheek, Alex. It'll make the fans go crazy."

I blush a little but let him. The picture is cute but he has to bend down (surprisingly ik haha) to kiss my cheek. We switch it up so I kiss his cheek and that's just as cute.

We hang out at the park until sunset. We decide to take a couple more in the better really fast before it gets dark.

Alex and I pose again. Karl starts jokingly chanting "KISS KISS KISS"

I decide it would be funny to kiss his cheek when they chant this.

I get on my tippy toes and reach up to kiss his cheeks, but he turns to kiss my cheek at the same time, resulting in an unexpected pec.

Oops i just kissed Alex Quackity.
