"Y/N YOU CANT MAKE IT! WE SHOULD FALL BACK AND REGROUP!" Faea called out to me. "FEE! THEYRE IN THERE! I just need a boost! Damnit I'm not going to lose them AGAIN!!!" I looked up at the ascending helicopter that held the two people that mean the most to me. I had to think of something. And fast.

26 hours earlier:

I got off my train and gave myself a good stretch. I arrived 30 minutes from the pin point on the map. If I was right, then my parents were being held there and I needed to keep an appropriate distance. I also couldn't let myself be seen by anyone. I didn't know who Alice had power over. So I called Faea, waking her up in the process.

"Yeah what is it?" She answered in her adorable morning voice. She was never a morning person. "I'm about to send you an address, meet me there in about 3 hours." And with that, I hung up the phone leaving her with questions. Shiketsu High was only a couple hours away so she is definitely going to have to skip school for this. She is the one that wanted to come with me after all.

Faea arrived around noon and we got lunch to catch up on things. She told me about Shiketsu and I told her about UA. We were both doing really well despite being so far from each other. We talked about the overall plan of how we were going to get my parents back. Her idea was that we charge in and I quote "kick their asses" but I told her that idea was trash. We had to be smart about this, I didn't know much about these people but I could tell they were pros at what they do. So we sat for what felt like forever and let our thoughts come together.

Once we finished our meal, I brought Faea to the inn I was staying at. Which wasn't the best but I didn't want any unwanted attention. "Geez y/n, I know you're loaded, no need to humble yourself." She said to me as we walked the halls. She was talking about the money in my bank account from my days on the streets. Fighting for money was a rough business to be in but I made it pretty far.

My strongest opponent was a young man, maybe in his early twenties. His quirk reminded me of Kirishimas hardening. He could make any part of his body as sharp as glass, pretty cool for combat. The only downfall is that glass breaks.... And I broke his.

His was the first life I ever took. Umi Kaumiko was his name and I promised myself I'd never forget it. As a reminder of my past, I stole his midnight black cloak from his corpse... it reminded me of my fathers.

God I was only 12 at the time...how could I even think about anything but surviving? I did what I had to do in those fighting pits... it's what got me here.

I was snapped back into reality by a females words. "Oh my god... why do you always do thaaaatttt??" I hear my friends familiar voice. She was pretty used to me getting lost in my thoughts. I had a lot to think about. "Hehe... sorry Fee, I was just reminded of something that's all... promise." I said to her while rubbing the back of my neck. She nodded as I unlocked my hotel room.

"We should probably get some shut eye if we want to get an early start tomorrow." I walk over to my small bag I had packed and she jumps onto the bed. I grab my pajamas and walk into the bathroom but forget to grab my phone. I place my clothes on the counter and return to the room, where I see Fee holding my cellphone in hand, smiling widely at me. "Ouuuuu who's Shotooo???!!" She coos at me. My eyes widen.

"Oh my go- gimme that!! That's Todoroki, remember I told you about him already." She gasps and hands me my phone, where I see Todoroki's caller ID on my screen.

Great he's probably wondering why I wasn't at school today.

"I gotta take this!" I tell her and run to the bathroom. "NO MAAM WHY ARE YOU ON FIRST NAME BASIS WITH HIM HUHHHH?!?" She screams my way but I quickly shut the bathroom door. The line must have already rang about 4 times.
