It had been days since Katsuki said a word to either me or Kirishima. My first guess is that he's feeling guilty about punching the redhead across the face... and my second guess is that he doesn't want to confront me about his feelings.
So for the time being, everyone met at Deku's agency for those few days still needing to continue with the investigation. The police still had no new evidence about anything suspicious going around. I couldn't help but feel so helpless. Keigo was still out there with All For One probably being tortured and I couldn't help but blame myself.
The only reason they took him was because he was important to me... he's my family and I let him down.
That dumbass... he still managed to save my life that day. Even while being held hostage by the worlds most wanted villain.

I was walking down the sidewalk, headed to Deku's hero agency for the day. I finally perfected the new design of my hero costume and was feeling great about it. The air was cooler out than usual so I opted for the winter design, which wasn't much different than the normal long sleeved jumpsuit.
People would watch me walk by and I would smile to them and wave...
yep I'm the girl that went missing blah blah blah. Please stop looking at me like that...
It was no secret that I was back in town. The word on the street is that I moved out the country for 6 years but that couldn't be farther from the truth. No one truly knew what I was doing or where I was... besides Hawks.
The headlines had stopped publishing his disappearance after about two years. Most people thought he was dead, some thought he moved to the states... but again, that couldn't be farther from the truth.
I wish I could be honest with everyone but they wouldn't accept the truth even if I told them. I was an aspiring new hero and telling people I used to be an assassin for money wasn't something I could brag about.
So I kept my hood up, my head down, and my hands in my pockets. This is the life I wanted for myself.
Why can't I just own it?
These are the people I'm supposed to be protecting so they better fucking appreciate me no matter what! I thought to myself.
I sighed and stood up straight, making myself look more confident. The agency was another few blocks away so I decided I better fly there to save some time so I placed my hands down at my sides, ready to launch.
"Hey! Y/n!" I heard a voice from behind me. That sounds distantly familiar-
The person threw their arm over my shoulder and I couldn't see their face past my hood. They smelled of cigarette smoke and chemicals.
"Hey buddy! Get off... I've got places to be." I said to the person and I shoved them off.
My blood ran cold and I froze at the sight.
It's the middle of the day... don't tell me the league of villains is attacking now! I got into a fighting stance, readying myself for anything.
"....relax sweetheart. I'm not here to fight you or anyone else. I've come alone so why don't we just have a chat." The young man says to me. I couldn't seem to remember his name... but I'd remember that wilted purple skin anywhere.
"I remember you...." I clenched my fists. "....from my graduation, you're the one that carried me away from the chaos of the explosion." I said to the man. He kept his hood up but started to walk away before saying anything.
