3 days earlier:

Aizawa and Eri sat in the middle of the living room of the middle aged man's apartment. Eri's sweat was creating a puddle underneath her brow bone and she shuttered with anxiety.

"You got this Eri. Just like we practiced." Aizawa told her with a comforting voice.

"I can't- it's still too much. This isn't the same as an apple dad... I can't just rewind him back to normal so easily." She dropped her glowing hands and the colorful mist protruding from her horn stopped as well.

Aizawa let out a sigh, walking away to the kitchen.

"Eri?..." Hawks finally spoke up from his position on the floor mat.

"...yeah I know. You already told me that if I wasn't comfortable doing this... I didn't have to. But Hawks, your wings were a huge part of you. If it's me that can get them back for you then I'm sure going to try." The young girl stood straight with a face of determination.

In her mind she could only think about Deku and how he strives to be the best hero he can be. The admiration she held for the young man was enough to keep a solid mindset.

Aizawa walked back into the living space quietly. "Sorry guys, I had to make a quick phone call. Eri..." the older male knelt down next to the girl, placing a firm hand on her shoulder. "...why don't we take a break okay?"

She nodded.

Nearly 30 minutes later, there was a knock on Aizawas front door, alerting the residents inside.

"I'll get it." Eri jumped.

She bounced all the way to the door and flung it open to reveal a rather tall blonde who was all too familiar for the girl.

"What's up Eri... how have you been?" Togata Stepped into the threshold of the apartment and gave the young girl a death defying hug.

"Lemillion!" She beamed. Seeing her favorite hero was the icing on the cake for the awful day she was having.

The two stepped back into the living area and met back with the two pro heros who didn't leave the room.

"Hawks... whats up man!" Togata exclaimed, walking up to the other blonde and giving him a firm fist bump.

"Nothing much dude. Why are you here? Just visiting?" He asked.

"Actually... Aizawa sensei called me over. He said I might be able to help-"

"Mirio..." Eraserhead interrupted. The dark haired male nodded his head in the general direction of Eri.

Immediately knowing his reasoning, the blonde quickly changed the subject.

"Eri! How bout you go grab us some apples out the kitchen huh!" He nudged the young girl and she shot him a quick smile before bolting out of the room.

"Sorry Mirio, it's just-... I don't want her thinking I don't have faith in her or anything. I know she can do it, she's just second guessing herself. I called you so that maybe you could give her the comfort she needs... from someone she loves." Aizawa spoke in a low voice.

Togata reminisced on the time he lost his quirk to the villain; Overhaul. It happened so many years ago that he almost forgets about it daily. A few years after the incident, Aizawa came up with the idea that Eri could potentially use her quirk to get his back for him. And then that so called dream became a reality. Togata was gifted with his permeation once again and it was all thanks to the little girl he once knew.

Since then, Eri has been training harder than ever to perfect her rewinding abilities. Knowing that one small mistake could cost a life or maybe multiple.

"I understand. Don't worry Hawks... that girl is going to help you get your wings back."

The blonde chuckled. "I don't doubt that for a second. She's a strong kid. Reminds me of someone I know."

Moments later, Eri met everyone back in the living space with two bright red apples in hand. She tossed one to Mirio, who caught it with ease and made her way back to the floor mat. Hawks was still laying on one of his own and he grabbed her hands, making her blush.

"Hawks?! What are you doing?" She gasped.

"I want you to know that even if you can't get me my wings back... thank you for trying this hard. I don't deserve it. So thank you Eri." The former pro hero gave her a smile and she returned one of her own, dropping his hands.

"Don't you worry Hawks... that's not an answer I'm willing to settle with."

The young girl took a few short breaths before tossing her hands back onto Hawks' back. The male was warm and built. And of course he was shirtless, to aid in the rewinding process.

Eri's horn began to glow a bright but pale yellow color and it even expanded like before. The intensity behind her power blew her shoulder length hair all over the place. The other two in the room kept there distance, knowing full well how dangerous her quirk could be.

"Are you ready?" The young woman spoke.

Hawks simply nodded and gulped his fear down his throat. The grip he had on the floor mat beneath him could puncture the thickest paper.

Eri closed her eyes and clenched her teeth hard as she pushed against the scars that wilted the skin just above his shoulder blades. Please work. She thought to herself.

Hawks began to sweat uncontrollably and toss and turn on his mat. Mirio went to investigate but was stopped by the grip of Aizawas hand. The blonde nodded to the older male.

Hawks let out an agonizing scream and gripped the floor mat hard, turning the tips of his knuckles white. The pain of transforming one's body back to his original state must have been brutal. No one expected this and yet, they all agreed to move forward with the idea.

Knelt down beside the blonde, Eri opened her eyes to see... it was working. There was now two bone nubs protruding from his shoulder blades.

She rejoiced. "Haha it's working Hawks! Hang in there okay!" She called out to him.

"Oh wonderful ah~ here I was thinking you were just trying to kill me!" He joked in between breaths.

The bones had stopped growing and Eri released the blonde form her grips. She breathed slow, in and out until her horn stopped glowing and shrunk down to just a nub.

"Eri!" Mirio shouted, running up behind her and scooping her up in his arms. "You did it. I can't believe how amazing you are!"

"Lemillion... thanks for coming today. I don't know if I could have done it without you here." She said with a smile.

The blonde turned to face Aizawa who gave him a quick nod and grin.

"Are you alright Hawks? How do you feel?" The male asked.

Hawks sat up on the mat and took a peek over his shoulder. "I mean... the feathers will have to grow back, which could take days. But... I feel amazing. I feel like myself again." The blonde wiggled his shoulder blades making Mirio cringe.

"Ew bro that's so weird looking. Anyways I'm heading out... Tamaki needs me for something." Mirio said his goodbyes and left the apartment moments later.

The birdbrain hero stood from the floor still drenched in his own sweat and looked at Eri and Aizawa.

"Thank you both..."

"Yeah alright. Make sure not to lose them again or I'm not helpin! Hmph!" Eri said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Promise."

Man, she really reminds me of y/n.... y/n. I have to see her now that they've found her again.
