In case of any unplanned quirk outbursts, I had been strapped to a chair to restrain any movements.
"Here, bite down on this." Bakugou placed a dry rag in between my teeth and pushed my hair behind my ear. "Are you positive about this?" He asked.
I looked at him in his beautiful crimson hues and nodded my head no. The feeling of shame washed over me and I honestly didn't know how to feel.
I wanted to make sure Keigo was okay with this too. These were his wings... even if he did end up getting them back after everything that happened.
I let the rag fall out of my mouth and I turned to face my childhood friend. "Ke...." I whimpered.
"Yeah... whats wrong?" He responded, walking over to me.
"I-I just... I don't know what to do. It's no lie that these wings have become a part of who I am but... they remind me everyday what happened to you. It's a daily reminder that I couldn't save you from All For One."
"Y/n..." he said slowly.
"But.... They are also a daily reminder... of you. How much you've changed my life. How your influence made me into the best hero I could be. They are a daily reminder of my best friend and the person I love the most in this world."
He sighed and grabbed my cheek. "I believe you're strong enough now to make this decision for yourself. I trust you completely... you know that." He placed a kiss on my cheek and it made the tears brimming my eyes finally fall.
"I-I can't do it.... I can't get rid of them."
I didn't see it but Katsukis heart was warmed by my sudden confidence and strength. He smiled softly as he gripped my hand.
I turned to face the blonde. He didn't need to say anything... I just knew... he was happy for me.
And I was happy he was here with me.

"Eri, I've changed my mind." I said to the young woman.
Aizawa gasped. "What the hell are you talking about?! You can't be trusted with that serum in-"
"Dad..."
The male looked down at his daughter with a concerned face. "...I got this. Don't you trust me?" Was all she said.
He nodded and she tuned her gaze back to meet mine. "It's because your wings right? Going back to the state your body was in before you were injected, would mean you wouldn't have them..."
I averted my eyes and looked down at the floor. "Yeah."
She giggled, making me twitch. "Uh."
"Oh silly... what did you think I was going to do? I'm not rewinding your body... I'm rewinding your blood."
"My... huh?"
—-
"Okay, in order to do this, I have to take some blood... is that okay with you y/n?" Eri smiled at me and I looked deep into her red eyes.
This girl had been through so much in her young life and it's made her into the young woman she is today.
"Do whatever you need to do... I trust you Eri." I replied.
The young woman pulled up my sleeve and extracted some blood from my vein. I winced from the sight and the feeling.
"Alright. I suppose this is what I'll use as a test run. Dad, call Recovery girl, I may need her help." The pale haired girl demanded and Aizawa quickly pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
