Y/n POV:

The sunset was so beautiful at this time of the day. I always loved watching the sky change from blue, to orange, to red and so on. It reminded me of the times Bakugou and I would sit on the roof of the dorm building.

After training hard with each other, it felt nice to sit and relax with an amazing view.

I sat against the window of my cell. They haven't let me wander around since I've been here because they're too afraid I'll try to leave.

They wouldn't be wrong to fear that...

If I even get one chance to escape this place, I'm taking it. All day, everyday, they have me training my powers and have me hooked up to monitors to check my health. Apparently its super dangerous for the human body to hold more than one quirk... lovely.

"Dinner time..." my cell door buzzed, the light changing from red to green. Dabi walked in and sat down at the desk on one of the walls.

To be completely honest, they were treating me well. At first, All For One was trying to take over control of my body and that resulted in me getting tortured. But that was weeks ago. But now, I was eating three meals a day, I got to shower regularly, I even found myself being friendly with Dabi. The dark haired male doesn't talk much but I can tell he's hypocritically warming up to me.

"Do you ever wonder what's beyond the horizon?" I said, still facing out the window.

"No." Dabi replied. "Now come eat this before I roast it." He hovers his hand over the plate of food.

"Yeah yeah. I'm coming." I walked over and grabbed the plate, bringing it back to my bed. I accidentally sat on my right wing, making me yelp. Dabi found this amusing and he laughed uncontrollably to mock me.

I had never seen him smile before so I didn't stop him. Or get offended. All I did was softly grin at him.

"Ya know Dabi, I know I should blame you for... everything. But the truth is, I don't..." I said not looking away from my food.

"The hell are you going on about?" He asked in his raspy voice.

"I want to know more about you... where are you from?" I said scooting myself to the end of the bed.

He lightly chuckled. "I'm not doing this shit with you. Hurry up and finish your food so I can take the damn plate." He grumbled to me.

"Oh come onnnn. Admit it, you like hanging out with me. That's why it's always you that brings me my food." I say innocently. He raises an eyebrow.

"Alright I'll have Twice bring you your damn breakfast tomorrow morning." He said, standing from the chair.

"Okay..." I said blankly. He looked visibly offended by my reply and let out a sigh.

I finished the last few bites and held my plate out for him to grab. He walked over and snatched it from my hands aggressively.

"What was that for?!" I snapped.

"Nothing little birdy." He teased. My face lit up from anger and I crossed my arms at him.

"Shut up you! You- fire- guy! UGH!" I couldn't manage to think of a decent comeback to spit at him but he smirked at me nonetheless.

"Oh yeah, I'm not allowed to tell you this but you're training with me tomorrow sweetheart... prepare to be roasted alive." He said making his exit.

My breath got caught in my throat as I watched the cell door close after him.

I hate being burned. All of my friends have burning quirks... which usually made training super... not fun for me.
