-26- Changes

Y/n POV:

Days had passed since I was finally discharged from the hospital. The doctor gave me strict orders to be as careful as possible which I obviously didn't agree with. I've been at the DynaMight Agency this whole time and Bakugou and I were beginning a new investigation to find Keigo, All For One, and.....my parents.

Everything finally felt like it was going to be okay, I was finally training to be a hero again, I had my friends back in my life, and I got to save people... well help my friends save people.

For now, Bakugou kept me stuck in his agency while the others were out doing all the actual work.

Stupid injuries.

I still needed to rest my body and going out doing hero work wouldn't help. Ive been patiently waiting for the new design of my hero costume to be made as well, I refuse to wear the cloak my father wears anymore.

So I redesigned it as a simple bodysuit that cuts off at my thighs with long sleeves. And I also added knee high boots to compliment my legs more. The new look should help with movement and speed, the two things I've been working on improving.

So I sat in Bakugous office while all my hero friends were out looking for clues about All For One. God I hated being alone... I reminded me of the past too much. All I wanted was to get past that point in my life.

"Y/n we have something..." I heard Faea's voice from the head set I was wearing.

"Yeah! What is it. I'm ready!" I excitedly say, ready to not be so useless.

"...it's Alice. I remember her face from that day she took your parents away..." I cringe at the thought of that night all those years ago. "...she's walking into some warehouse... mark it on the map, I have a feeling this place is important."

"Got it! Man you guys sound like you're having so much fun out there without me!! It really sucks to be stuck in here." I whine.

"Just go talk to Endeavor or something... ya know I honestly still can't believe he agreed to partner with Dynamight on this mission..... I'm even more surprised that Baku let him haha." She replied with a chuckle.

"Yeah... I have a feeling it's because Bakugou did his work studies at Endeavors agency back in high school... which is how he met Keigo actually." I sigh into the headset.

God please be okay Ke...

"Don't worry y/n, we're going to find him. I'm sure Endeavor is feeling just as bored and lonely and he already knows all about you cause well.... I am still his sidekick after all." She said.

"Sure okay okay. I need to stretch my legs anyway." I say back to her. "I'll catch up with you guys later... I'm putting Ezra on the head set.....EZRA!!!" I shout to the closed door at the end of the room. The assistant rushes in with a worried expression and sees me lounging in his bosses chair.

"Oh... yes miss l/n?"

I get up out of the rolling chair and walk over to the young man. "Im making you take over okay? Don't touch any buttons unless they tell you to... you'll be fine." I say to him, handing him the big and bulky headphones.

"Oo-oh okay." He takes them hesitantly and I slap a firm hand on his back.

Endeavor and I talked for several long minutes about Shoto and Faea... and then Shaea...super cute.

They have been together for the past five years and I couldn't help but feel a little jealous of their relationship. I know they loved each other but they also loved to rub their happiness in my face.
