-40- Brawl

"BRING IT ON NEWBIE! LETS SEE JUST HOW MUCH STRONGER YOUVE REALLY GOTTEN!!"

I charged toward the beautiful girl in front of me and she quickly dodged and hopped out of the way. There was in no way I could beat her. Not with all of her new abilities.

Her wings were strong and fast, just like how Hawks' used to be. She had been training with All For One and improving each of her skills... in other words... I was out matched.

"...y/n..." I breathed.

I couldn't tell how long we had been going at it. Minutes? Hours? There was no telling how much time had actually gone by since I started defending my life.

"Y/n... I can't beat you, I'll admit it damnit!"

She plucked one of her wing feathers aggressively and limped closer and closer to me.

"Y/n... you have to... fight it! I can't beat you!" I stumbled and took more steps away from her. I was in no condition to fight any more and neither was she. The only difference between us was that she couldn't stop... which means I couldn't either.

Letting her get any closer means I'm dead for sure... I've got to keep distance until my strength is back up.

"Katsuki... you're going to die here tonight. I'm going to make sure of that if you don't do something."

Who was this girl? It wasn't her. It wasn't the same new girl from Shiketsu High. It wasn't the daughter of two of the worlds most wanted villains. It wasn't the girl who saved countless lives, including Deku's. She wasn't the one who also took countless lives...who then challenged fate and became a hero... despite everyone saying she couldn't. Despite me thinking it could never happen...

She wasn't the girl... no... she wasn't the woman I fell in love with.

"DIE!" She shouted, leaping in my direction. I coughed as her knee made contact with my diaphragm, knocking me to the hard concrete.

I can't. I won't... fight you y/n.

She marched over to me and kicked me over so my back was against the ground. I looked up at her defeated expression and coughed up more and more blood.

She positioned herself right above me, aiming her blade-like feather right for my chest.

Shit! I've got to do something!

I sent a blast right into her body, sending her flying back several feet. The force behind the blast pushed my body back until I slammed into the wall a few meters back. The impact was hard and only made me feel weaker.

"I NEED YOU TO FIGHT HARDER THAN THAT KATSUKI!!!" She shouted.

"I'm trying dumbass!! You've already kicked my ass... I told you I can't win! Not against the monster you've become!!" I recoiled. It only seemed to piss her off more.

She charged towards me again, this time with an even more evil look behind her beautiful (e/c) eyes.

I held out my hand to prepare to defend myself again but she disappeared from my sights. Assuming she opened a portal and ran through, I began looking around frantically. She would pop out of the next one sooner or later.

"Now you're hiding?! Come on damnit!!!" I shouted.

The sky began to drizzle and the downpour was cold against the gentle breeze that was felt. I didn't imagine my night being like this. But somehow... I didn't mind.

Knowing that y/n wasn't off killing innocent people for All For One was reassuring. Even if she was trying to kill me.

I heard the sound of her portal opening once again. I watched as the colorful mist appeared not even five yards in front of me. Y/n walked out slowly, she didn't break eye contact once. Something was off.
