-20- "I hope you undertstand"

Back at the 3-A dorms:

Class 3-A all sat at the table, except Bakugou, who was outside training to blow off steam. Iida stood above everyone reading a letter that y/n had written for them.

'Dear... everyone, I know this may seem sudden considering what happened a couple days ago but I just want you to know that... I won't be coming back.

The attack at graduation was an attack targeting towards me. I've kept this information from you all long enough so I'm now explaining my situation.

My parents are the wanted villains named 'Vanish' and 'Sorceress', and I am their daughter L/n Y/n. They worked for All For One for many years during my youth but stopped when I received my quirk. They chose not to draw any attention to me.

However, when I was about eight years old, my parents and I were kidnapped by very bad gang members. Their plan... was to take me and sell me because of my abilities. I possess both of my parents quirks and that is seen as kind of rare nowadays. I'm sure Shoto understands, this is why his father values his powers so much.

The thugs wanted to sell me on the black market and obviously my parents objected, so they formed a plan without me knowing and saved my life that day. I went a whole decade not knowing where they were or if they were even still alive.

The last words my father said to me that day were to lay low and to not draw unwanted attention to myself. God I wish I had listened, none of you would have been put in danger.

So for the first 6 years, I lived alone on the streets, my only source of income coming from the street fights and... assassinations. It was a messy life to be living in... but I did meet someone. He saved me and got me a real job, now don't get me wrong, it's not something I agreed too at first. But eventually he made me realize that I was wrong about how I was living my life.

I wanted change.

So after I moved west, I joined a hero course at Shiketsu High and loved every minute there. I learned that being a hero was what I always wanted. But dreams can't always come true. Once Nezu convinced me to join UA, I told them I was orphaned so not even the teachers knew about my life story.

I never wanted to keep this from you all... there were so many days where I almost said the words but I knew it wouldn't be the right time. So I'm telling you now I'm hopes that maybe you'll see where I'm coming from. I know this will be hard... mostly for me considering I have to stay away from the people I love.

Also, Midoriya.... I wish you a well recovery:) I didn't save your life just so you could die.

You'll all do amazing things and you'll all be great heros one day. Maybe I'll see you all again. I hope so.
