Just a bunch of headcanons coz it's 3 am, I'm tired but I wanna write something.

--------------------

All the agents had been kept in the office all night on a case. Everyone was tired and coffee was starting to run out. Jack stood in the briefing room, his brain slowly shutting down from pure tiredness. Agents littered the room, slumped in chairs, against walls, or even flat on the floor.

Daniel stood towards the back wall with a cup of warm coffee in his hand. Peggy staggered into the room, the bags under her eyes becoming more prominent by the minute. She walked over and took her place next to Daniel. She rested her head on his shoulder. Then she took the coffee out of his hand, him being too tired to protest. After taking a sip she returned it back to him, before hiding in the crook of his neck.

"Okay, will you two stop acting like a married couple, please? It's getting distracting," Jack called from across the room

------------

"Hey Peg," He said as he walked through Peggy's bedroom door with a box under his arm.

"Hey? I didn't know you were coming today," She said, walking across the room, pressing a kiss to his lips.

"I brought all your stuff from my apartment," He laughed, handing her the box filled to the brim with her belongings.

"You'd think I'd live there," Peggy laughed, walking to place the box next to her closet.

"I mean you probably spend more time there than you do here," Daniel said, wrapping his arms around Peggy's waist.

"I practically already live there," Peggy chuckled. Daniel rested his head on her shoulder, kiss her cheek.

"What if we made it permanent?" Daniel asked

"What?" She said, smiling as she turned to face Daniel

"You heard me. Move-in with me," He said, his smile stretching from ear to ear. Peggy didn't answer. Instead, she smashed her lips on his, fighting the urge to smile.

--------------------------------

"You have a bit of chocolate above your lip," Daniel mindlessly pointed out as Peggy and he ate their cake.

"No I don't," Peggy said, running her finger over her lip

"No, the other side," Daniel laughed. After running her finger over the other side of her lip, she threw her hand down in exasperation.

"No, I don't!" She said, still missing it.

"Yes," Daniel said, leaning forward and swiping up the chocolate. "-you do," He smirked

"Well... Now I don't," She said, playfully glaring at him.

--------------------

Daniel scrambled down the hallway, closer to his daughter's cry. He threw the door open and saw the little girl hiding under the blankets. She studdered something about having a nightmare. Usually, Daniel would hold her, calm her down, and tell the child that everything was okay. But...Peggy wasn't home

"Hey, you know what helps with nightmares?" He asked.

"What?" The little girl asked.

"Cake," He responded, sparking the little girl's smile. She giggled as he pulled her out of bed and balanced her on his hip as he walked to the kitchen. Placing her down on the bench (Or CoUnTeR) and started working on the cake. His daughter helped stir the batter and place it in the oven. She smiled and giggles as they wired for the timer to go off. Once the little ding went off, the two sped to the oven. Daniel expertly drags it out of the oven. They waited for it to cool and then they iced it.

The father and daughter sat on the couch in front of the fire at about 2 am when Peggy comes home. She slipped through the door, trying to unnoticed by her young daughter, who she thought was asleep. Apparently not.

"Look, Peg, Before you say anyth-" Daniel tried, the child trying t stifle her laughter

"Where's my cake?" She asked

And that's how the family of three ended up eating cake at 2:30 am in front of the fire.
