Yes we are going to ignore that it's been however many months. I'm too lazy to check.
This thing makes no sense. I originally wrote it for another ship for another book and decided to make it Peggysous. So if either of them are John or Alex, I apologize and we're going to pretend like it's fine.

So yeah, I'd say that I have more stuff coming soon but I said that last time and life is shittyyyy.
Great way to end this

Another bolt of lightning illuminated the sky with another crash. Another cry echoed through Peggy's dorm room.

Her shaking body sunk further into the corner of his room. Rain shattered against the glass, growling clouds shooting down lightning, each making Peggy clutch her pillow tighter.

Daggers were sent for Peggy's heart, piercing it with the accuracy of a deadly assassin. Cries shook through her body as the thunder continued to violently crash against his windows like whips.

Her thoughts drifted to Daniel. He was only down the hall, asleep in his dorm room. She doubted she could even make it to her own door, let alone to Daniel's room. Her throat began to close, straining his sobs. The thunder became a distant echo in her mind. She tried to remember Daniel's voice, his warm touch. But the crash of the sky burnt the thought of Daniel's smile out of his mind.

So she sat there, a victim of the roaring sky.

-----------------------

Daniel was pulled out of his dreams by the rumble of the sky. His eyelids fluttered open as he took note of the pattering rain against his window. He could see his figure illuminated by the light show, his shadow stretching out on the floor. The pattering drops and the rolling of the clouds comforted Daniel, as he sighed into the pillow.

But then, his eyes shot open as his body tensed with worry. He threw his covers off his bed, practically falling off the mattress in the process, remembering his girlfriend's deathly fear of the dark sky. He never wanted to see her in that state again, not after last time.

Daniel clutched his discarded jeans, frantically pulling every pocket inside out to find Peggy's spare dorm room key. Once the cool metal was safely in his hand, the booming thunder shoved him out the door, he was sprinting down the hall by the time he got to the girl's room.

With shaky hands, he shoved the key in the keyhole, turning it with a racing heart. The door opened silently and Daniel slipped into the dark room.

With a crash of the sky, a cry came from the corner of the room. Making Daniel's heart break.

-----------------------------

Another deafening crash came from the dark clouds, taunting the broken girl. Sobbs shook through her, control over her body was slipping through his fingers. Screams of her past struck her heart repeatedly. Her eyes screwed shut, she didn't take note of the footsteps trailing towards her. She didn't notice anyone was there until the figure placed it's hand on her tear soaked cheek.

"Hey, Peg. Hey baby, it's okay, I'm here," The man cooed in a soft voice. The girl's eyes shot open. She was met with the warm hazel eyes that he fell in love with, and dark hair even messier due to the fact that the man just fell out of bed.

"D-D-Daniel-" She choked, tears flooding her eyes again. Despite the darkness of the room, he could see into her soul through his eyes. The pain, illuminated by the bolts that snuck through the flying curtains.

"Peg," He whispered, trying his hardest not to make his voice crack under his girlfriend's state. He quickly flicked a tear off his cheek before he sunk further to the floor, slowly sliding the tear soaked pillow out of her grasp. A bullet met his heart as he saw how violently Peggy was shaking. Daniel grasped her small, buzzing hands in his, wincing at the freezing temperature. Peggy's shoulders shook with such ferocity that Daniel's hands, in hers, followed suit.

Daniel placed his hand gently on Peggy's cheek, blocking tears from following the other tears down her pale cheeks.

"I- I- I'm sorry, Danny," He whispered with his eyes screwed shut, leaning into Daniel's warm touch.

"It's okay, I'm here now. It'll be over soon, Peg," Daniel cooed. Peggy shook her head furiously, diving forward and wrapping her shaking arms around Daniel's neck. The boy just held her as tight as he could, whispering reassuring sentiments in her ear. With each bolt of lightning, Peggy's body shook more, her grip tightening around her boyfriend's neck. Her sobs like bullets in Daniel's heart.

They sat on the floor, Peggy sat in Daniel's lap, his arms sealed tightly around her boyfriend's neck, legs around his waist. The thrashing rain calmed down over the hour, Peggy's cries followed, getting quieter. Now her whimpers and the light tap of rain was all that echoed the room. Her shaking stopped and her tears barely fell.

"Peg? Doll?" Daniel called softly. He received a sniffle and a slight hum in response. "You okay?"

"I-Yeah. For now," She said softly. She pulled his arms away from Daniel's neck, her legs still firmly in place. Her hands went to either side of her boyfriend's freckled face. Daniel's hands dropped loosely to Peggy's back, a curious look on his face. "Thank you, Daniel. I don't know what I'd do without you," She whispered, tears burning his eyes at the thought.

"Hey, no, Peg, don't cry. It's okay." Daniel's eyebrows furrowed as he brought his hand to her face, swiping away the stray tear off her pale cheeks.

"I-I can't help it. I just love y-you so mu-much, I-" Daniel slid his hand through Peggy's long, dark hair, and pulled his head towards his, pressing their lips together softly.

"I love you too, my Little Angel. I'm never leaving you,"
