Melody’s POV
Nakakainip ang mga lumipas na araw matapos nung gabi na sinundo ako ni Ace. Bigla kasing tumawag yung wife nya so kailangan nya daw puntahan angmag-iina nya. Well, nung gabing yon, ok na sana ako nun e. Achieve na achieve na kaso biglang may witch na sumingit sa mala fairytale na story namin. She’s the witch who competes with me when I cooked adobo for Ace. Honey.
Anyways at least my third plan, or better to say our third plan went well. Ba naman! Naka dalawang sunod na failure na ko, kung naging failure din yung pangatlo bigti na this! Wala nga lang plano ngayon dahil wala si Ace at nagliwaliw kasama ang barkada. Malaya na naman sya dahil wala sila tita.
Andito pala ako sa tree house ni Jalen. Waiting for him.. for them.
Napabalikwas ako ng bangon nung may marinig akong hagikgikan sa baba. And then a soft voice I guess from a woman.
“Quiet sweeties. Careful.”
But then the soft giggling noise continues.
I patiently wait while sitting on an Indian-sit position. I’m nervous and excited at the same time. Nervous that Jalen’s wife will hate me and excited to see their kids.
“Hi.”
My jaw drops open as I look at the three little people in front of me. They look very similar to one another. Cool!
“Hi.” They said in unison while waving their hand. I blink countlessly. This is really cool! They are so cute! I wanna tweak their chubby cheeks.
“Sure tita. I’m Allia”
The little girl nod at me. Did I say my thoughts out loud? My face turns crimson.
The little cute boy at her side lifts his thumb up.
“Anddy.” He said while giggling silently.
“Uh-huh I agree. We are really so cute and people can’t resist our charms specially girls. I’m Andrew.”
Natawa ko sa sinabi ni Andrew. Duduguin yata ilong ko sa kanila. Agad syang pinaikutan ng dalawa nyang kakambal at nag-usap sila na akala mo sobrang importante though dinig ko naman since konti lang ang layo nila sakin. Hindi naman kasi ganun kalaki itong tree house.
“Stop being pompous Andrew..”-Anddy
“We should stay humble all the time like what Dee and Mee said.”-Allia
“Oh ya’ I forgot sorry dudes.”-Andrew
Nagsibalik na sila sa pwesto nila ulet while looking at me intently.
“Uh… what is it?” I asked them.
“You wanted to pinch us, right tita? Uhmm.. we’re kind of waiting for ya’”-Allia
Napangiti ako. Pinasadahan ko ng pasimpleng punas yung ilong ko baka kasi may umaagos ng pulang bagay.
“I have changed my mind. I don’t want to do it anymore.”-me
Nagtinginan sila sa isat-isa at gaya kanina inikutan na naman nila si Andrew.
“See? She thinks we’re no longer cute and charming because of you being a bigheaded boy. Urgh!”-Allia
Natawa ako sa sinabi nya. Yun talaga yung naisip nilang dahilan ko kaya ayoko na silang kurutin sa pisngi? Seriously?
“This is your fault dude. I won’t be lending you my spiderman boxer anymore.”-Anddy
Mahina akong tumatawa sa mga nairinig ko na pinagsasabi nila.
“I’m sorry dudes.” –Andrew
Bago pa magbugbugan yung triplets tumikhim na ko at nakuha ko naman agad yung atensyon nila.
“When someone pinches you on the cheek it doesn’t always mean that you’re cute.”
Sabay-sabay pa silang napasinghap na ikinatawa ko lang.
“And in my case that I didn’t pinch you it doesn’t also means that you’re not cute or anything you call it, charming, adorable, appealing, eye-catching whatever. I just don’t want to hurt you that when I start pinching I would not be able to stop. And I don’t want your cheeks to sag because of too much squeezing.” I joked
Sabay sabay silang napahawak sa magkabilang pisngi nila. They really are very entertaining. I stood up then hug them.
“Ang ku-cute nyo!”
