(A/N: ⚠️ Talk of a school shooting. Be cautious while reading if this is something that will effect you ⚠️)
It was a week after Peter found out Mr. Tony was actually Tony Stark, and Peter decided to go on patrol around New York instead of going to school.
Nothing too exciting happened. He stopped some muggings, a few robberies - but that was pretty much it.
Until there was a school shooting.
He swung from lamp post to lamp post, as quick as he could.
He had already called in police and ambulances and medics, and they were making their way to the school as well.
Then, when he reached the school, he dove in through a broken window that had been shattered from a bullet.
He dashed through the school, using his enhanced hearing to listen for the armed person or people.
Suddenly, he heard something that washed him with dread. Gun shots.
He span around and started racing for the stairs, making it to the second floor in no time.
He ran quietly down the hall, which was where the firing was happening, and saw the armed person shooting into a classroom that had a de-hinged door.
The shooter turned to Peter, and started to shoot at him instead.
Peter didn't care, because there were kids in that classroom screaming and crying, and he could hear the kids in the room around him doing just the same.
He ran at the person, who had a mask over their face, and disarmed them with the few self defence moves he knew.
The person cried out when Peter tripped them, trapping them on the floor before shooting their limbs with web.
He dismembered the gun, putting it aside before quickly running into the classroom.
The class was cowering in a corner, and it was a dreadful sight to see.
He started to lead the students out of the classroom, just as the police and other responders were arriving to the scene.
The rest of the school was evacuated out of the building.
Peter took care of the shooter, who ended up being a woman who looked around her early thirties.
He left after putting her in jail, and went home to attend to his wounds.

Peter
Mr. Stark, do you think five years ago from today at this exact moment, instead of it being 4:14 pm, it was something like 11:27 am, or maybe 7:32 pm.Like what if as years went by, the time changed. Like right now it's 4:14, but what if seven years ago at this exact moment it was 1 in the morning.
Mr. Stark
Kid, I didn't sneak my phone out during the meeting just for you to hurt my brain.
Peter
Sorry Mr. Stark!
But have you ever thought about that?
Mr. Stark
No, Peter, I can't say that I have.
Peter
I think it would be cool if that was how it worked. What if we went through a time machine to today nine years ago, but it was completely dark outside since it was nighttime.
That would completely throw me off. Wouldn't it, Mr. Stark?
Mr. Stark
Kid, I'd love to listen to your conspiracy theory rant, but Nick Fury just showed us a video of YOU saving a school shooting.
In that God damn onesie!!!
Peter, please. I'm begging you!
You know what, head on over to Stark Tower right now at this very second. Without your suit.
You won't regret it.
When you get there, wait in the lobby.
Peter
Uh, Mr. Stark?
Am I in trouble?
Why do you want me to go over there?
Mr. Stark
You're not in trouble, Pete.
Just head on over, okay?
With OUT your suit.
Peter
You called me Pete!!!!
And alright, Mr. Stark.
I'm going there now.
Seen.
