Chapter Thirty-Three…
“Wakey-Wakey. Rise and shine lovebirds!!”
“Shut up Matt.” I whined as Jord’s arm tightened around my waist and I buried my face further into his chest, squashing my nose.
“Time to get up.” He chorused, dragging the covers off us and making me squeak as the cold air hit my body.
I heard Matt gasp as he took in our sleeping forms. I could feel that my t-shirt had ridden up and was exposing my pants. One of Jord’s arms was secured around my waist, whilst the other one had sneaked under my shirt and was resting on my lower back. Our legs were tangled together and I think it would have been hard for us to get much closer together.
I opened an eye and peered at Matt who was gaping at us incredulous. “Go away Matt.” I whinged. “It’s too early.”
“Yeah.” Jord spoke for the first time. “My alarm hasn’t even gone of yet.” He complained.
Matt smirked. “I came early to try and catch you in bed together, but it looks like I got more than I bargained for.”
I groaned, but didn’t make any attempt to move. “What time is it anyway?” Jord asked.
“Early.” I mumbled.
“About six thirty.” Matt replied.
“Oh my god.” I groaned again. “Far too early.”
Jord began to remove his arms from me and I felt the loss immediately. I couldn’t manage to stop the blush when one of his hands rubbed against my bum though.
Half an hour later, we were all sat eating cereal round the table in the kitchen. I had had a shower, changed into some clothes and my hair was naturally wavy whereas I normally straightened it. Mr. Armstrong’s apartment was lacking some girly essentials.
We were all ready to go and seeing as though Mr. Armstrong had to be in school so early, I was alright to get a lift with him since there wouldn’t really be anyone else there apart from a few teachers who would be busy with their own work anyway.
Matt only came to pick fun at us anyway and so he went when we were leaving. I had shoved all my books in my back and so I sorted them out so that it was only the ones I needed for today in there. We didn’t have lockers at our school, which meant I was stuck carrying them around all day. I put the remaining ones on Mr. Armstrong’s coffee table.
We drove listening to the radio in a comfortable silence. When we got to his classroom he sat a pile of books onto his desk, sat down in his comfy chair and grabbed a pen and the first book.
“Need some help marking?” I asked, grinning at him.
He pulled a chair up at the side of him and handed me a pen. “You can live at mine if you’re going to mark books for me.” He teased.
I laughed and got to work.
By the time the bell went we had marked tons of sheets and my hand ached with the amount of ticking and correcting I had been doing.
I thanked Mr. Armstrong for letting me stay over last night and then headed off to my first lesson. I met Grace outside the classroom just as the teacher was about to let people in. “Where’ve you been this morning? I didn’t see Matt drop you off.” She inquired.
“My parents kicked me out last night.” I told her, not really answering her question, but giving her something else to gasp about.
“What?! What did you do?”
“They had a sudden change of heart and threw me out when I wouldn’t put the charges back on Zack.” I explained.
“I can’t believe they kicked you out just because of that.” She exclaimed as we walked into the classroom.
