Y/N POV

I ended up destroying everyone in Monopoly, which I wasted no time in boasting about.

"GET FUCKED BITCHES! LET'S GOOOOO!" I cheered, flipping everyone off when Pinoe, who was the last player still in the game, went completely bankrupt.

"YOU BITCH!" The purple haired woman cried, throwing her mortgaged properties down onto the board.

Taylor laughed, looking over to Alex. "Is he always like this?"

The brunette nodded. "Unfortunately, yes."

"Pft, unfortunately? You love me Morgan." I grinned smugly, wordlessly referencing the fling we had a few years ago one summer. (A/n talk about a bomb drop LMAO)

Man I'll never forget those times.

It had ended on good terms, and if anything I'd say it brought us even closer. We had tried for a relationship but no matter how much we wanted it to be, it was nothing more than fun flirting and good sex.

The forward just rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, you're all legally required to call me King, My Liege, or Master now." I smirked smugly.

"Absolutely not." Ali said, laughing.

"What about Daddy?" Ash offered, making Tobin and I cackle.

"I mean if you want. Not sure how Ali would feel about that, but I won't turn down being called Daddy." I joked.

"Go right ahead, Ash." Ali spoke, feigning disgust in a way that only made us all laugh more.

"You won't turn down being called Daddy? Good to know." Taylor said, effectively making my jaw drop.

"He won't. Take it from me." Megan spoke up, making my cheeks flush bright red.

"You can take my word for it too." Alex added.

All of the girls giggled loudly while I just face palmed, groaning. "Jesus Christ."

"What's the matter, Daddy?" Pinoe asked in a high pitched voice, making me groan even louder from embarrassment.

"Please stop."

"I love it when you beg me, Daddy!"

"PINOE!"

"Okay okay! I'll stop, but only because it's dinner time and I'm hungry as shit."

Right on cue, my stomach growled noisily.

"Taylor, Megan, you guys staying for dinner?" Christen asked, packing up Monopoly.

"Sure." Taylor smiled.

Megan shook her head. "I can't, unfortunately. I have to go to dinner with my Manager tonight. Apparently he's got  a project he thinks I might be interested so he wants to talk to me about it. You guys have fun though. My ride should actually be here in the next few minutes so-"

She was interrupted by a ding on her phone. "Speak of the devil."

Megan stood from her spot where she had been practically sitting in my lap the whole game.

The rest of us stood to say goodbye to her.

"So good to see you." Ali said, hugging her friend.

"Great to meet you." Christen, Alex, and Taylor said.

"Nice to see you." Ash smiled.

"Good to meet you." Tobin said.

I was the last one to say goodbye, and before I could even say anything she pulled me into a hug. "It was wonderful meeting you, Y/n. I hope we'll get to spend more time together. I'll have Ali give you my number so we can stay in touch."

I forced a smile, internally dying. "Cool. It was good to meet you too, Megan. Have fun at your meeting."

She pulled away and waved to the group. "See you guys later!"

I let out an audible sigh of ease as soon as she left.

"Damn, she was all up on you." Pinoe commented, keeping her voice hushed, and I couldn't help but nod.

"I don't even wanna think about that right now, I'm too hungry."

----------------------------

We all sat at the same table, though Tobin, Ash I were lost in our own conversation since all the girls were chatting about god knows what. Every so often I'd catch a word or two from them, and usually it had something to do with bath bombs or makeup or whatever, neither of which were my thing.

"Dude you good? You looked really uncomfortable earlier." Ash asked, concern on her face.

Tobin nodded. "I noticed that too. Megan was getting pretty close to you."

"She's nice and all, you know? But even if I wanted to, I don't feel that way about her. I have literally zero interest in dating her, and it sucks because she was supposed to be my chance to get over...you know...Elliot and I thought it might work, but honestly I think it just made things worse."

My friends inclined their heads. "I feel you." Ash spoke. "Ali's been friends with her for a while and she is a sweet person, but she can get pretty touchy at times, and besides, it's not like you can just get over someone in one day. Give it time, man. It'll pass."

I shrugged. "Maybe." Without even meaning to, I glanced across the table at Taylor, who was laughing loudly with the girls.

I knew, just by the way my heart raced in my chest, that getting over her wouldn't just take time.

"Earlier, when you said you were staying with your parents...?" Tobin asked, not even bothering to finish the question because she already knew the answer.

"Yeah, that's not happening. I mean I'll visit them, but I'd rather have my own place or be with one of you guys. I was not about to give Megan the opportunity to invite me to live with her." I replied, shivering a little at the thought of what a disaster that would be.

I felt bad enough when I spent the day with her, letting her hold my hand and stuff, but accepting an invitation to live with her? Hell no. That was too deep of a hole to dig out of.

"I haven't had time to talk to my Realestate agent yet, though, so as of this moment I'm still just in the searching phase. Hopefully I can find something though, because I know I definitely want a permanent place here, but I'm just not sure if I want a house or an apartment." I said.

Ash set down her water glass. "Makes sense. Ali and I got our house in Orlando when we signed multiple year contracts for Pride, but now that we're all moving to Angel City we're thinking about getting a house here. Right now we've just got our apartment. We don't have a guest room, but we do have extra some space we could probably squeeze you into if you wanna crash at our place until you get yours."

I sent her a grateful smile and nodded. "Thanks. Lemme just try to figure out what the plan is with my agent, and then I'll get back to you."

"Of course, bro."

I hadn't realized the girl's conversation stopped until Taylor spoke, smiling.

"You could always stay with me."
