(Jennifer)

I pull into Chris's driveway. I've never been inside his house before but it looks huge from the outside. I knock on the door and a few seconds later he opens it. "Hey, come on in." He steps out of the way and I walk in. He closes the door behind me and I walk around his living room.

He leads me into the dining room/kitchen and I take a seat at the table. "So, what's for dinner?" I ask, in the same tone I use with my mom. "Pasta and spaghetti sauce. I'm not a very good cook though, so don't get your hopes up." He laughs and I do too. "So, this is your house. It's not what I expected." I say, looking around. "What did you expect?" He hands me a plate and sits down across from me. "I don't know, not this. Where's your kids by the way?" I ask. "They're staying with their mom." He pours me some wine. The bottle looks fancy. "Oh, do you see them often?" I take a drink. "Usually every weekend or a few days during the week. Pretty much whenever I can." I can't imagine only seeing my kids some days. We eat and talk for a while. It's nice, being away from everyone, no Blaine, no kids, just me and Chris.

I finish my dinner and we continue with our small talk. I mostly listen. I love hearing him talk. I don't even listen to what he's saying most of the time, just individual words. I admire his blue eyes, they shine when he looks towards the light. "I know you want me." I feel a chill run down my spine. "What?" Is all I can think to say. I have no idea what we were even talking about, but I'm positive I just heard him say that. He's right though, as much as I hate to admit it. I put my hands on the chair. "The way you're acting, I mean. The way you're sitting with your legs together like that and you're blushing like crazy right now." He continues. My mouth drops open and I have to force myself to close it. This is wrong, really wrong. I can feel it, but I stay glued to my seat. My hand moves to my thigh and I hold it there. "You're wrong." I say, keeping my voice steady. "I have a husband, remember, I told you about him." His blue eyes continue to blaze into mine. "Alright, I'm wrong. You want dessert?" He asks, back to his old self again. "Um, sure." I say, anything to make this less awkward.

He gives me a piece of cheesecake, my favorite. I stare down at it. Then I slowly pick up my fork and take a bite. It's good, but I'm not really hungry anymore. I set my fork down and take a drink of my wine. I stand up, and push in my chair. "I should go." I state, still standing by my chair. "Do you want help cleaning up?" I ask, trying not to be rude. "No that's fine. I'll walk you out." He says, standing up too.

He walks me to the door and just as I'm about to walk out he kisses me. It's like a tornado of emotions rushing through me at once. He releases me and I shut the door and kiss him again this time harder. We make it to his bedroom and I drop my purse on the floor. Everything happens so fast I don't have time to think. I stand in front of the bed and he kisses my neck from behind me.

He unzips my dress and pulls it off and I step out of my heels. Somehow we get on the bed and I'm naked, he must be too. We kiss again and again and eventually end up stopping for air. I wrap my arms around his back and the room feels like it's spinning. I hear a phone ringing and all I can think of is Nick.
