(Jennifer)

I tiptoe downstairs, careful not to wake Nick and step outside to call my mom. She answers after the first few rings. "Mom?" I ask. "Jennifer?" She answers. "I wanted to tell you that Nick and I aren't going to have a wedding. We're just gonna go to the courthouse and get married. I know you and dad wanted me to have a wedding like Ben and Blaine, but I'd just rather keep it private." I wait for her reaction, getting nervous. "If that's what you want then that's fine." She surprises me. "Really?" I ask, confused. "Really. Whatever you want is fine. Don't worry about your dad. He's happy that you're marrying Nick and starting a family, so whatever you want is fine." I'm relieved, I thought they were gonna be difficult. "Thanks mom. I love you." I tell her, before hanging up.

I walk back inside and see Nick standing in the kitchen in his boxers. "I woke you up didn't I?" He nods and pours a cup of coffee for both of us. "I'm sorry. I tried really hard to be quiet." I take the cup out of his hand. "It's fine." He smiles at me. I wonder why he's not mad at me. I would be mad if he woke me up. "So, what do you wanna do today?" He leans over the counter so we're closer. "Get married." I smile. "Sounds great." He says.

As soon as we get home from the courthouse I call my friend Lora. "Hey, Lora. Guess what." I play with the ring on my finger. "What? You and Nick had sex?" That makes me roll my eyes. "No, better! We got married and I'm pregnant." I think about how her face must look right now. "Holy shit! Why didn't you tell me?" She asks, practically screaming. "I was busy visiting my family for the holidays and I didn't want to disturb you." I say, even though I was really too busy with Nick to think about calling her. "You didn't want to disturb me my ass. Do you wanna hang out tonight?" She suggests. "Yeah. I still have a few hours before we leave for France and I think I can trust Nick to pack for me." I Immediately question myself. Nick doesn't seem to grasp the concept of fashion. "Ooh! France sounds très sexy. Meet me at the spot in five." She hangs up. The spot is what we call the little pizza shop a few blocks away.

I take one of Nick's sweatshirts off our bed and put it on. "I'm going out with Lora. Pack for me please." I say, before running downstairs.

I sit down at a table with her and we drink water while we wait for our pizza. "Don't you find it a little strange that you told Nick what you wanted and then it happened?" She asks, after I finish telling her everything she's missed so far. "No. I mean a little, I guess, but I'm happy so who cares?" The guy hands me our pizza. "I was just asking. You don't have to get so defensive." She takes a slice of pizza. "I know. I'm sorry it's just-" I stop myself. "I know, Jen. It's okay." She says. "Yeah, I'll see you in a few weeks. I'm sorry we haven't talked much, but I've got a plane to catch." I take a slice of pizza with me as I'm walking out. "See you later!" She says, halfway looking at me and halfway looking at some guy who just walked in. I laugh and start walking home.

We get on the plane and I squeeze Nick's hand, making him look at me. "I can't wait until we land." I already feel nauseated. "Me too." He agrees.

A/N: I've decided to try to focus on this story for the next week or so. So expect more chapters soon. Also the next chapter might be inappropriate for younger people so don't say I didn't warn you.
