I watch my mom open her present from Nick and start to wonder how I'm gonna tell her. "Thanks, you two are the best! I'm gonna go put it up." She walks upstairs and my dad follows her. Here's my chance to tell Blaine. "Merry Christmas you physic fucker!" I throw the pregnancy test at him. He catches it and then he throws it on the floor. "Really you gave me something you peed on for Christmas? Thanks." He says, making Nick laugh. I suddenly remember he's next to me. "If it makes you feel better Nick got the same thing." I turn to Nick and kiss him. "I'm sure it didn't bother him much." Blaine rolls his eyes and hands the pregnancy test to me before walking upstairs. Ben follows him probably going to his room and I stay on the couch with Nick. "We should tell them. When they get back downstairs." I climb into his lap. "Hey mom, dad!" I greet them nervously. "Hey." My mom looks at me like I'm crazy. "We have something to tell you that Nick will now say." I direct the attention to Nick. "Well... I um." He stutters, moving one of his hands onto my stomach. "We're having a baby." He looks at me instead of my parents. Their eyes flicker back and forth between his hand and my face. "That's great!" My mom smiles at us. "Yeah, congratulations!" My dad looks at my mom before walking upstairs. "Alright, so that was about a million times more weird than I expected." I pick Nick's hand up and play with his fingers. "Yeah. I'll call my mom tonight." He tells me as I put his hand back down.
I pack up my bags and take them out to the car and Nick does the same. Then my mom and Blaine walk out. I move to the backseat with Nick and they both get in the car. We drive to the airport in silence. But it's not awkward. We just don't have much to talk about. We get on the plane and I move the arm rest so I can be as close to Nick as possible. "God, they make it really hard to cuddle in these seats." I try to adjust my seat belt before laying my head on Nick's shoulder. "You want something?" He asks, as the worker comes by with snacks. "Yeah, get me Doritos." He hands them to me and I pull open the bag, taking one out. "I love you Nick." I look up at him. "I love you too." He says. "I also love Doritos. So, can you get me some more?" I hand him the empty bag.
