Chapter 7: Walks & Decisions

Ivy's POV

As I walked down the sidewalk, I didn't focus on where I was going. I'm not really sure what I was focused on, I was just clearing my mind.

I was one of the few people up at dawn walking around. It was mainly people getting coffee before work, joggers, and people returning home with hangovers.

The city life.

The morning air was chilly, but I ignored it and continued walking.

What do I do?

I can't live my life like this, in fear of Harry walking through the door with his whore of the day on his arm.

I'll never be able to live my life; not here anyway.

My thoughts were cut short when my cell phone buzzed. I was gonna hang up, thinking it was Olivia or Lacey, but when I saw it was Father I quickly answered.

"Hello?" I answered.
"It's me princess," Father answered.
"I know, I have caller I.D. How you healing up?"

"Well I got out last week so now I'm stuck laying around the house all day while Ana makes sure I am always eating, drinking, or sleeping. Honestly I'm going crazy," he chuckles.

I lightly chuckled in reply.

"How's LA?" He asked.
"Busy, noisy, crazy. It's like London on steroids," I laughed.

"Maybe when I'm back up on my feet Ana, Penny, and I could go visit you?"

My breathing hitched. Them come visit? They'd have to come all this way to see how messed up my life is?

"I need to ask you about something."

When I stepped back in the apartment, the living room was cleaned up and both my roommates weren't in the room. It was odd not coming in and finding someone there.

Normally someone is always here watching TV or reading.

I kicked off my shoes next to the pile of the shoes building up by our door.

"Lacey? Olivia?" I called out.
"In the shower!" Olivia called out.

How will I tell them my news? Will they be upset with me? Maybe they'll understand my reasons?

I chewed on my lip as I walked into my messy bedroom.

Dirty clothes were tossed all over the place. And my bedsheets were flung all over the place.

How will I be able to handle this?
