Ivy's POV
When I walked downstairs the next morning, I found it empty and so silent that you could hear if someone was breathing in the next room.
"Hello?" I called out.
There was no response as I walked into the large kitchen that was completely white.
"Good morning Ms. Ivy," a maid rushed to greet me in her French accent.
"Uh-good morning. Where's my Father and Ana?"
"Mr. Dean left for work and Ms. Ana left to run out to go help her friend for the day. May I make you some breakfast?"
"Um," I bit my lip as I tried to decide.
"I think I'll just grab something in town. I'm not hungry yet."
"Alright, have a good day Ms. Ivy."
I lightly smiled at the woman before I slid my boots I held in my hand on, and headed for the front door.
The London air hit through my leggings sending a cold chill down my spine. But my arms were covered with my long thick sweater, so my arms were warm and I didn't really feel like going back and changing my entire outfit.
Oh the struggles of the lazy life.
I wrapped my arms around myself and continued to walk down the quiet and empty sidewalk.
It's weird being here at this time of day.
Usually at this time of day I'd be at school. I never really thought about what it looked like in certain places while I was at school.
Back in high school I had a lot more issue than what sidewalks looked like; like Harry.
Harry wasn't my only problem back in high school, but he was my biggest one I ever had. Let's be honest there was a lot of guy drama back in high school, but never like I had with Harry.
I shut myself off from thinking about that anymore.
The whole reason I moved here was to get my mind off Harry, so that's what I needed to do.
I sighed and turned into the path that led to the park.
There was only a few moms out with strollers and diaper bags, letting their little kids get fresh air.
"Hey lady, you're standing on my friend," a little girl yelled.
I jumped back in fright, thinking I was standing on a little kid, but found only one little girl.
"Are you okay Mariah?" The little girl asked into the wind.
"Violet," a woman called.
A pregnant woman with long blonde hair came rushing down the sidewalk pushing a stroller.
"Violet, don't take off like that on Mommy," she sighed in relief of finding her child.
"I'm sorry Mommy," she pouted. "But Mariah wanted to go explore. She got bored looking at the clouds."
"Imaginary friend," she mouthed to me.
I laughed at the child's active imagination. When I was five or six I had an imaginary boyfriend, his name was Eric.
The woman pulled her aviators off her face and looked at me in shock all of a sudden.
"Ivy?" She gasped.
That's when I spotted her familiar bright blue eyes.
"Shelby?" My jaw dropped.
