Fred felt the sun peak through the curtains of his bedroom, and he groaned a little when he turned to his side. He felt long, thick hair hitting his cheek and when his eyes fluttered open he was met with the sight of a beautiful girl laying next to him.

It was Poppy, who was already wide awake. She had watched him a little while he slept, when she was still waking up out out of her slumber herself.

"Good morning, you." He smiled cheekily while he playfully pulled her closer.

"Last night was nice." Fred said sleepily, but with such sweetness that Poppy couldn't do anything else but to grin even brighter.

"I think it was great." She said, before leaning in to lock their lips for the first time that morning.

Fred let himself disappear in the way she kissed him for a little bit, knowing that he might not get the chance anytime soon.

He pushed himself up a little to rest against the headboard and then finally caught sight of the clock on his wall.

"Shit, it's ten already, have we slept that long?" He asked confused, as he was usually an early bird.

"We were quite busy at night, so we deserved to sleep a little longer." Poppy teased, as she traced his chest with her finger.

"FP is going to see you coming out of my room." Fred knew that eventually they had to speak about the one person who couldn't find out about this yet. He wanted for her to stay longer, but the risk was big.

"Are we talking about my brother here? He sleeps till noon if he gets the chance." Poppy teased, as she wrapped herself up in one of his flannels that laid on the floor.

Fred chuckled, that was a very valid point she was making. However, he'd rather be safe than sorry.

"Okay, time for your big escape?" He patted her thigh while looking for some clothes to put on for the both of them.

"I wish we could cuddle a little longer." She sighed a little, while watching how Fred dressed himself properly.

"I wish that too," He crawled on the bed again and gave her another kiss.

"Are you okay, Fred?" Poppy asked insecurely, while stroking her hand over his cheek as she looked at him.

"I know we just started this, but I wanted to ask you... is this what you want?" She wondered, as if she could somehow sense the hesitation he had. Fred sat down on the bed next to her again and struggled to find words.

"Things are complicated, with me probably becoming a father you know..." Fred began carefully, not really being sure how to finish that sentence.

He could imagine that it was too much for her and he didn't want for her to make a commitment when she didn't realize what she was getting herself into.

"Am I who you want, Fred?" She asked directly, somehow needing that answer for him. They would figure out the rest, day by day.

"Yeah, you are. I feel like myself when I am with you." He confessed sweetly, a smile tugging on his lips without him even noticing.

"Me too. You are who I want too." Poppy smiled so brightly, that he couldn't help but take her face into his hands and kiss her hard.

"Whatever comes our way, we'll figure it out." Fred rested his forehead against hers and knew that things would be fine. He had faith in her, in them, and that was all that they needed right now.

He took her hand and dragged her towards the living room, having a gut feeling they needed to be fast. Fred's hand reached the doorknob of his front door and just when he was about to turn it for Poppy to sneak away, a voice made them freeze right into place.
