Hybrid 5.4 : Jimin

Me: Hey, what's-?

Eliot: My parents found out about Joy and me.

Me: But-

Eliot: They are bringing her there.

Me: Eliot, I can't do anything about that-

Eliot: Just...be there for me.

Me: Can't you talk it out with them Eliot? Lie to them if necessary.

Eliot: No. She's already there. The contract is broken and the authority have already acted. Just...I just...

Me: Pick me up

Eliot: I'm already there. Your hybrids-

Me: No. I won't take them there. No way. I'm changing and I'll be there

Eliot: See you in ten

I sighed looking at my phone. The bedroom was soundproof and I had fortunately closed the door. I stepped in the walk-in closet and took a long black dress. It was strict and I never wore it. A white pearl necklace completed the look with peal earrings. I put my hair up in a bun and some waterproof mascara and lip tint. I looked at myself in the mirror dreading what I was about to see. I took black heels and walked down the stairs in a hurry.

"What's wrong?" Yoongi and Jimin stepped in front of me

"I have to go somewhere." I whispered as I walked pass them "Don't go out. Don't answer the door and stay inside. Eat without me, I'll probably come back home late."

"El where are you going?" Jimin said as I heard their steps follow me to the entrance "Why can't we tag along?" he asked

"Because." I answered

Yoongi frowned and Jimin raised an unimpressed eyebrow at me. I took a deep breath as Yoongi leaned against the entrance door preventing me from going out. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. What I was about to do, was to support Eliot while he watched the love of his life being killed and tortured by idiots without being able to do anything. Yes, laws were beginning to change and hybrids started having rights, but no bills about reducing the sentence for a breach of contract was passed. Unfortunately.

"Move" I said to Yoongi

"Explain where you are going first." Yoongi's voice was always calm "You're stressed about it and from what I can tell you don't want to go there at all. So what's the problem cub?" he stepped closer

I stopped him with one hand feeling myself about to break down. My phone rang and I knew very well it was Eliot.

"Yoongi, move. I won't repeat myself." I clutched my eyes tight

"Is that an order?" Yoongi said his voice betraying his surprise

"Jimin take care of Yoongi and vice versa when I'm not here. Keep your phones near." I said in a whisper

I closed the door with the key after pushing Yoongi out of the way. I never went anywhere without one of them at least. I was always saying the truth to my hybrids and I hoped that it was the case for them as well. But in this case I had no desire telling them the truth. Eliot had already cried when I arrived in the car.

"What happened exactly?" I asked

"After we broke our engagement, my parents were furious and refused to talk to me for a month. I used this time to spend the whole time with Joy. I asked her to marry me Ela." I inhaled deeply "I got her a ring and everything, thanks to the job you gave me in one of your company. I planned everything and it was going great. We found a place and I wanted to invite you there. But, when I came back home from work today, everything was trashed around. Joy was not there. My parents called me and told me about the Execution and how ashamed they were. Everything was already in place Ela. They planned it all." He hit the wheel with so much force that I heard it crack
