It's has been few weeks since Ruby left for her mission, which she was doing alone. The first week was a little stressful for Team RWBY. For one, Yang kept asking Ozpin or GoodWitch, has Ruby returned yet? Which, of course, they would respond with no. Yang was a nervous wreck on the outside. She thought, what if Ruby doesn't come back? Was she a good sister?! Is it her fault Ruby doesn't want to come back?! Yang was distraught. It was down to Weiss and Blake to calm her down, which took a lot for them to, mainly for Blake since she seemed to talk Yang to rest and more.

Weiss wasn't doing any better. She wasn't showing it, but she was worried as hell!!! Every night for the first week. She would watch the door super late to hope to see Ruby coming in. She hoped the mission would take less than two weeks. She would stare at Ruby's bed multiple times throughout the day and night. She acted normal through the school day and made it seem she wasn't worried at all for Ruby. Still, as soon the door closed and no one was looking, she would stop smiling and tell herself over and over that Ruby will come back to them....to her. Her studies did drop slightly, but she soon found herself focusing again to bring them back up. Still, she would be lying if she didn't miss hearing that hyperactive voice of her team leader messing with her. But she knew she had to stay strong and trust Ruby.

Blake was holding it in better than her other two teammates. She understood why both of them were worrywarts. For Yang, it is her little sister. Someone she has grown up with since birth and has been there all the way. And from what she was told, Ruby looked just like her mom Summer, and when they lost her, Yang was forced to grow up a bit. Like Blake. Maybe that is why she was so close to Yang more than her other two teammates, not saying they weren't close, but Yang understood how she acted when it came to the White Fang digging. Yang wants to be someone Ruby could rely on when the tough get going, and she would do anything to protect Ruby no matter what. So to have your little sister go on such a solo mission and haven't heard from her most got her freaking out. She had to talk Yang to sleep a few times this past week and even cuddle, which she wasn't complaining about at all; she enjoyed it. Maybe they could do it more in the future.

Then it came to Weiss. It was no secret to her, but Weiss has developed some feelings for their oh great leader. Weiss was just having a hard time coming with those feelings for the longest time. Still, she can tell this week Ruby being gone has helped her get her feeling straight there no denying Weiss like Ruby. Blake has spotted her staying up and watching the door in the middle of the night, or sometimes when she thinks Yang or her is gone, Weiss would hop into Ruby's bed and lay there. She has caught her doing this a few times but told Weiss she would keep it a secret. And Blake herself would be lying if she isn't worrying herself for her leader. She was always seeing that cheerful and high-spirited girl cheer up. Blake throughout the day made some days so much more enjoyable, and she wants to see Ruby's goofy side a lot more when they do things. Blake questions why Ozpin chose Ruby, of all people, to do this mission. She is happy for her, but why not choose the most capable fighter Pyrrha? If he wanted someone to be there, it should have been her? But for now, she just hopes Ruby makes it back to all of them.

It has been two weeks and no Ruby. If people weren't worried the first week, they are NOW! They haven't heard anything from her at all; that was worrisome. But the fact remains, she hasn't come back either, and the mission was only supposed to take two weeks! Qrow has been trying not to drink and listen or watch out for Ruby. When he gets the chance, he would fly around Beacon to see if he could spot her at all; he stays near the landing docks more than anything. He makes time to see his Niece Yang and make sure she is ok. It was rough that for sure; he noticed her hair isn't as straight as usual. She has seen stress out. Qrow had to reassure her everything will be ok. He thinks that in his head, he is telling himself that. He also sees Winter's little sister also stressed and has bags under his eyes. He has to notify Winter to check on her sister. The cat girl seems to be holding it, but she looks like she is about to crash, just like the rest of the team after doing a few double takes.
