A Late Christmas Special

Howdy, Howdy everyone! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and everything. Yep, as you can see I have one last late gift to you all.

I wish I could gotten this out on Christmas day, but I couldn't sorry about that.

But here is my late gift to all you wonderful reader who takes time out to read this and comment.

Currently, in a house on the outskirts of a simple village was the house of the Rose family. Ruby Rose, Neo Rose, and Jade Rose. And today was a special day...it was Christmas day.

Neo Rose was currently in bed; she was up all night wrapping gifts for her Wife and daughter. Neo is sleeping peacefully and dreaming of lying under a tree with Ruby. The woman who saved her and gave her a semblance of a normal life. In the dream, Ruby smiled at Neo and was about to kiss her someone jumped on top of Neo's bed.

Neo: 'Oof!!'

Neo looked at the person who woke her from her happy dream, and she saw her pride and joy. Jade Rose, HER little girl. Jade was giving the brightest smile she could muster and was bouncing up and down.

Jade: "MOMMY!! MOMMY!!! MOMMY!! It's CHRISTMAS!!!! SANTA CAME!!!! I SAW PRESENT!!!"

Neo giggled at her daughter's excitement...yeah, Santa Claus came alright, and they worked extra hard to make sure Jade Christmas was a special one.

Jade: "Mom told me to come get you up and she is cooking strawberry pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes!"

Neo nods her head at her daughter and begins to get up and get ready. Neo made her way downstairs with her bed hair and only in some shorts and a loose shirt. As soon she hit the living room, she got a smell of freshly baked pancakes, her mouth drools. Neo looks at the cook, her lovely Wife, Ruby Rose. Neo went over and kissed her Wife on the cheek.

Ruby: "*giggle* Good to see you up. I hope you don't mind. I'm cooking the Ruby' special' breakfast!" Neo shakes her head. "Hear that Jade!! We get to have chocolate pancakes!!"

Both Jade and Ruby cheer for this. While Neo just chuckled at the two.

Neo might not want to admit it, but she loves it when Ruby cooks breakfast. When they first got this house, she didn't think either one knew how to cook, but she learned very fast Ruby for how long she was a chef...when it came to sweets.

Ruby might be able to cook some of the best damn cookies Neo has ever had, but her other cooking is...well...was decent. She didn't burn anything, so that was good. But Ruby wasn't the best when it comes to meat, chicken, or anything like that. It came down to Neo for all that and teaching Ruby. Thank Oum, Roman taught her how to cook because he didn't. They might have been relying on the village a lot more.

They still had to have some of the villagers help them with a few things when they came to the kitchen, but they learned enough to cook for themselves after a while.

Neo still couldn't believe the red hood girl she once tried to kill could cook sweets like champs. Neo has lost count; she has just devoured Ruby's cooking when it comes to dessert. Definitely, and add a bonus for marrying her. Good thing she got a surprise for Ruby for later.

Ruby finishes cooking breakfast with little Jade bouncing up and down in her chair, excited to eat her mom cooking. Ruby hands them each a plate, and soon after, all three members of the Rose family hop in and devour their pancakes. Once Ruby and Neo were done, they were full and patted their stomach.
