Chapter 29

Howdy, Howdy, YEP you are reading this right! GUESS WHO HAS RETURN!!! That's right the man! The myth! The legend himself! Slayer!!! I am back!!! And I come with gifts! And I mean by that; Aka an update to this book! But not just this book! An update to a TON of my other WORK! 

Yep, you heard me I have updated nearly all my books! As well drop a two-three new's one as well. One of them being a RWBY book. Hope you all go check them out! 

Also, don't worried folks, yes I have heard what happen with RWBY and Rooster teeth. It was something. But I'm happy RWBY found a new home with Viz. And don't worried even when RWBY ends in the coming year or years. I will still continue be writing fanfic. 

IF people can still make Naruto and other fanfic of series that done. I most def can continue to write fanfic on these books. 

But beside that! I'm here to give you all an update to this book first. Yeah don't worried I wasn't going forget about my first big group and my first big fic on my page (mainly on Wattpad) so here you all go.

We found Emerald with a bag late at night in the land of darkness. After looking around in the hall to make sure no one was around, taking one final deep breath, she did something she should have done a month ago: leave.

Making her way out of the castle, she was a little scared, admittedly, given the place was crawling with Grimm. It wasn't going to be easy to get out of here. They stayed at the corner and pillars to hide wherever Grimm patrolled the area. Holding her breath or using her semblance to make it seem another Grimm was walking around. All the while, Emerald felt like her heart was going to explore!?! What the hell is she thinking!?! She tried to get out of the principal Grimm HQ place, and all she got in and got a damn chance was a prayer that no one else besides these Grimm was walking around. As she continued to make her way through the castle, she hoped, praying no one was up!

Most of the human-like members of Salem's side seemed not to be up and about, which was a good thing. Everything was going well so far, and feeling she was on the bottom floor of the place, she wanted to make a run for the front door, but she knew that was a terrible idea. If she remembers correctly, some of the storage rooms have a few side doors. How does she know that?

Easy, she had to do something around the castle whenever she wasn't training, and that meant she would scout out/walk around this giant ass place. Plus, this runaway has been a few days at work. Even with all the Grimm, she knew night would be the best time to run away. She knew Salem was too busy planning on the earth's downfall to give someone like Emerald a care in the world. Watt cares more for whatever crazy experiment he's doing in the lab given to him/the project he's working on. As much as she wanted to care for him like he said, Mercury has nothing to lose, so telling him about this plan means nothing. Tyrian was a fucking sick in the head; he does worry Emerald... a lot.

If there was one person she was worried about encountering, it would be him. Most faunus might have a higher endurance than most, but they still need sleep, so he wouldn't be active during the nights unless his 'queen' asked them to. From Emerald's knowledge, she hasn't—she hopes not.

Cinder clearly didn't care for her, so she wouldn't even give Emerald a second look if it meant she was out of hair—something Emerald wished she would learn sooner. Dear Oum, she was so stupid!!!

Just as she got to a storage room that she knew had a back door basically, getting ready to leave, she then heard-

???: "Where are you going?"
