With Ruby and her squad, after running what felt like they were running for hours, it seems night has finally fallen. As Ruby and Neo were catching their breath, it took a few minutes to realize it, but Penny split from the group to a nearby lake after a bit.

Ruby and Neo could see her near the lake, frankly wiping her hands on her dress and on plants to get the blood stain off her. Ruby and Neo looked at each other and nodded. Ruby decided to go over to check on Penny while Neo began to set up camp.

Ruby: "Pen-"

Penny: "DON'T COME NEAR!!" Penny said with a sudden boom in her voice, scaring Ruby, Neo, and Jade, back at the camp looking over at them. "Please... don't come near...."

Ruby: "Penny, it's ok, you-"

Penny: "No it's not!! I did the one thing I swore to myself I would never do!! I told myself I will never kill!! I always told myself, I'm not like those other machines they always built in Atlas! I always remind myself I'm not some killing machine! I have my own will! I have my own freedom! I can think on my own and won't be like the others! I always told myself I wasn't some mindless machine after meeting you. I'm not just some regular machine!!"

Ruby: "But you're not!"

Penny: "Yes, I am!! I broke an oath I took upon myself!! I did the one thing so many people were saying about me over and over again!"

Ruby: "Rumors...what rumors?"

Penny: "That I'm not nothing more than another piece of scarpe given more of a conscience, it's only a matter of time before I do what I'm programmed to do. Just like the others...kill."

Random person: "You're nothing more than a bucket of bolts and screws, what makes you so different from the other? You still can kill much more ruthlessly than others."

Penny: 'I'm not like them!'

Random Person: "It only a matter time before she becomes just another fall in ruthless soldier in Altas Military you know they care for us common folks."

Random Person: "What does she know about human emotion? I bet all she knows is killing and doing what she said like a good little toy."

Penny: 'I'm not a toy! I'm not someone who kills! I'm not like others! I'm-'

Random person: "You're no different compared to others, just because you haven't killed it's only a matter of time before you just like the rest of your kind. At the end of the day you're no different than them, when you get to the meat of things."

Penny: 'I'm not! I'm not a killing-' Penny gets a flash of Harriet and her looking at her with blood dripping down her mouth.

Harriet: "You did this... you're no different from like all those other atlas machines."

Penny: 'No! No! I'm not! I'm not like them! I didn't mean-'

Penny began to hyperventilate; her breathing was getting sporadic, she kept looking around in front of her, and she couldn't focus on one thing. She wants to! Something to help or ease her mind but each time she looked around, she saw Harriet and her bloody face and cut wounds Penny made...the wound she made herself...she was the one who did it. Penny looked down at her hands, which flashed between her regular untainted bloody hands and her bloody hands. The more Penny tried to get the image out of her head; she couldn't...it wouldn't go away...the blood...it wouldn't wipe off!
