RUBY Has a Daughter?!

Chapter 6

HELLO!!! It time for Chapter 6, and I should let it be known this chapter...we getting Neo backstory. I will say this I heard Roster teeth has release a comic that goes in depth with Roman and Neo backstory sorry to say I won't be using that. Why? Well, simple I already had the backstory plan out for how I wanted to do it and that manga got release post rough draft state for a few chapter in the far future so I will use my own backstory for this one sorry everyone. Also, I haven't read it yet so I don't even know what in it. But, that enough rambling hope you enjoy this chapter.

It was another day for Ruby hunting for the Grimm she was ordered to kill. Today Ruby decided it would be wise to go deeper in the forest to see if she could find this Grimm. Neo was behind her watching her kill some more Grimm, and she noticed how Ruby was fighting; she then texted something to Ruby. Ruby pulls out her scroll.

Ruby: *read* "You know you're not really that great at fighting." Ruby turns and looks at Neo. "Excuse ME!?!" Neo then type

Neo: *type* "Well for one I notice back at the train your biggest weakness is when you get disarmed you're not able to fight back."

Ruby: "Didn't I like punch you in the middle of our fight like two days ago?"

Neo: *Type* "Lucky shot." *type* "Two, you swing that overgrown garden tool like a blunt object." *type* "You're not bad, you just have a ton of flaws which is why I was nearly able to kill you."

Ruby stares at text a little complex....well, for one, she remembers she gave Neo a fight two days ago and was confident she would have won if it wasn't for the Grimm's...right? But what confused her about these text messages is why? Why would Neo tell her this?

Ruby: "Why? Why tell me this?"

Neo: *type* "Pssh, as much as I dislike you, I would like to see nothing more but to see that damn witch put in her place."

Ruby: "Witch?"

Neo: *type* "I think that's enough talking for now. She should get back to hunting that Grimm."

Ruby and Neo make their way through the forest, and Ruby slay Grimms as she comes across them. Neo kills a few that get too close to her; while looking for this Grimm, Ruby begins asking questions.

Ruby: "Why do you follow Roman?" Neo ignores her. As they move, Ruby continues to ask questions, "Why continue to work with the White Fangs? You're free now?" "Why did you turn to a life of crime and villainy?" "Why-" Neo had enough of Ruby's questions and got in front of her and pulled out her needle sword and pointed it at Ruby's neck. Ruby put her hands up to show she meant no harm. Neo pulls her scroll out, and Ruby texts something.

Neo: *type* "Not another word from your mouth or I will finish the job I started."

Ruby was a little scared since Neo would not waste the moment to slit her throat if she made one wrong move. But, she steels her nerves took a big gulp, and spoke.

Ruby: "You said I didn't know anything about the real world and what I'm fighting." Neo glares at Ruby while she continues, "You seen the other side, why not not tell me then?" Neo narrows her eyesight at Ruby and types something on her scroll, and sends it to Ruby.

Neo: *type* "Why would I tell you?"

Ruby: *deep breath* "Because I want to understand you." This made Neo's expression change to a shock one and one she was not expecting those words out of Ruby mouth the first time being around this girl Neo was stunned and couldn't think of anything to say but then got pissed again and typed.
