RUBY Has a Daughter?!

Chapter 28

Howdy, Howdy everyone. Yes, yes I am updating this story. I'm sorry it's has taken me so long to update this fic; I did not know I did not touch this at all last month. That wasn't suppose to happen. It just things came up in IRL and got busy which got me less time to write. And sadly there we days I just did not want to write.

But, now I'm back (somewhat) and here to update this fic! And after last chapter I'm sure many of you are eager to see what is the aftermath looking like. And don't worried, I'm nowhere done this book. I know where I want end this season of Ruby daughter (aka; Season 3). And where I plan to end Season 4, and some the moments I want to do with that. I have even started to think and plan some stuff for Season 5. Heheh, so don't worried fans of this book we got a LOT to go. (I would not be surprise if we do hit the 50 chapter mark). 

For now, that's enough talk about other stuff. I know you all came here to read this fic. I have nothing else to say; other then,

Ruby: "Mhmmm...." Ruby slowly opened her eyes...leaning up, she found herself in the void with smoke/mist on the ground of it. Stood up, looked around, and started to walk around. "Neo....Jade....Penny? Hello? Is anyone there?"

Silence....

Ruby continued wandering in the dark; for what felt like hours, Ruby finally came upon a child with black hair and red tips.

???: "When I grab up I want to be big and strong. So I can defeat Grimm and be stronger than big sis!!"

Ruby raises an eyebrow in that voice...she feels she knows it?

???: "I'll be a great huntress just like momma, that's why I don't have to worry about ever losing anyone!" The voice sounded happy.

Ruby: "Um, that's great and everything. I'm sure-"

???: "Isn't that what we wanted." Ruby's eyes widened, and she lost some color in her face. The child turns around, and we see it's a little Ruby. "After-all mommy left us because she wasn't strong enough to stop her end." The little Ruby's soulless eyes look up at the older Ruby.

Ruby takes a step away from her younger self with fear in her eyes.

Little Ruby: "Didn't we tell big sis Yang we always be with her and we're going to be a great hero. Just like the heroes in the fairy tales she used to read to us as a child?"

Ruby: "I...we..."

Little Ruby: "Why aren't we like the heroes in the fairy tales? Why are we painted as the villain? Aren't the heroes supposed to always win. I thought the bad guy never wins?"

Ruby: "T-They don't! And things aren't that simple, not everything is-"

Little Ruby: "Aren't supposed to protect those we care, smile and never see those we care for sad? Isn't that something we promise ourselves."

Ruby: "Yes! And we still will that-"

Little Ruby: "Then why couldn't we protect Jade?"

Ruby's eyes widen again. She then hears crying, turns, and sees Jade curl up crying. Ruby rushed over to her.

Ruby: "Jade it's me it's your mom it's ok your sa-" Ruby's stomach twists as Jade turns around, and she looks beat up and has blood on her.

Jade: "I...I...thought you said you would always be there...for me. *sniff*...you promise...we...we will never be separate...*sniff*...you broke...your promise."
