RUBY Has a Daughter?!

Chapter 19

Howdy, Howdy, yep here to drop another chapter of this for this story. To be honest...I want this to drop this a lot earlier in week or some point last week but I was on a 2 week vacation with my family and didn't get a lot of typing done. But I'm back to base and was able to finish this chapter.

And because I enjoy this story so much I want to drop another chapter. And man this chapter...heheh let just say this chapter is very important and drop some hints for some of the future stuff to play out in this story. I wonder who will catch you and see if they know what I'm planning heheh.

A day has gone by with Ruby and her group. They were currently walking to a nearby village. Ruby wasn't going to tell Neo and Penny about Oscar and his team, but the moment Ruby hit the camp, Neo already knew when she gave Ruby a look, and Ruby had no choice but to spill and tell them what happened.

Neo groans, knowing there's just no break for them! Thankfully Oscar and his team took Ruby's warning and didn't show up or were anywhere close. They all took turns watching. In the morning, they all begin to walk; this time, Jade walks beside them instead of being carried. What worried Ruby and Neo was that Jade was very quiet....usually that wasn't anything too wrong, but the look on Jade's face looked like she was deep in thought and was just on autopilot? And she was a usually drowsy good morning, and even a little excitement should have in the morning...it wasn't there.

Ruby and Neo were worried...they knew this trip would sooner or later take a toll on Jade; they were hoping she could hold out for a while. Maybe when they get to a village, it will slightly increase her mood...hopefully.

The group soon reached a village, and they had a smile on their face, finally. They quickly got to a small room to at least relax for a day or two before they continued moving. They would need to refill their supplies since it came to their attention; it will be a good while before they come across another village for a bit.

Ruby and Neo went out to grab some stuff while Penny stayed back with Jade, who was still in deep thoughts. Penny was worried about Jade and how she was feeling and decided this would be an excellent time to talk to her.

Penny: "Um, Jade...are you ok."

Jade: *look up at Auntie Penny then back down* "Auntie Penny...can I ask something?"

Penny: "Oh course sweetie...I tell you to the best of my abilities."

Jade: "....Is...is anything going to happen to you, mom, and mommy?"

Penny: "Huh? What do you mean?"

Jade: "Well, I hear you all talking and how mom had to keep fighting all these people to protect us...but...but...*sniff* I'm scared Auntie Penny... I'm scared something bad will happen mom and mommy and...*sniff*...*sniff* I'm scared I'll lose you all. I love this...family...I...I don't want to lose anyone." Jade began to cry and tried to calm down but couldn't. Penny went over and brought Jade in for a hug.

Penny: "It's ok Jade, your parents and I promise we will protect did we not?" Jade nodded her head. "Your parents are very powerful people, they won't allow anything to happen to you or each other. We all love you very much."

Jade: "But...But...what if...*sniff* they meet someone stronger than them...*sniff* what if...what if...mommy and mom lose their life protecting me?"

Penny: "They won't sweetie they always no matter what they made a promise to come back to you, and Ruby a person who never breaks her promise. We will always find a way...remember all those fairy tail's we would read to you, how the heroes in those stories always found a way to protect the innocent and save the day no matter what. Well that your parents, they will always find a way to come out on top and save the day."
