Y'all I found my new talent!!! Here's another poem

These are just my feelings btw :

             Title : Just let me be me.

There you are laying on the soft matress,
Tears built in your beautiful eyes

You clutch the bedsheets while your breathing heavy.

"Sit like a girl, walk like a girl, act like a girl"
The taunts haunting you and your mind all night

You slowly get up and stand in the front of the mirror
Staring at the reflection you see the fresh stains of the tears.

"Was it worth it??" You say out to the people who caused it.
"Was is worth hurting me?? Was it worth making me feel insecure?"
You shout this time as more tears pour down

You just want to be happy, just wanna wear what you want, just wanna act like yourself, just wanna speak what's right.

Is it that hard?? Is it hard for people to accept you the way you are?? Is it hard for people to understand that you don't want it?? Is it really hard for people not to appreciate you the way you are??

"Just let me be me" You speak these words sniffing before going to sleep with heaviness in your heart again but only to wake up as a strong and confident woman.
