CHAPTER 13: WATER GUNS AND FEILD TRIPS

Hola me amegos! This is the newest chapter, of course. I am truly glad about how many reads I am getting. Thank you so much! Also, I apologize, this chapter is a bit long...2759 words long. I think thats pretty lengthy. Hehe welp, ENJOY!

~ Aleks's POV ~
I looked down into the book I borrowed from Aya. It was some squishy romantic novel. I was really getting into it when Xander burst though the door. I jumped and the book fell into the crack of my bed. Welp, it was good while it lasted book.
"Aleks! You won't believe it!" He shouted grinning like crazy. I smiled back, I loved it when he smiled.
"What?" I asked excitedly he walked over to the bed and leaned over the top bunk peering in at me. His golden eyes bright with excitement.
"Feild Trip" was all he said. I gave him a confused look.
"A what?" I said. He grabbed my hands and gave me a small kiss.
"Its when we go out of school for a little. I heard we are going to the beach!" He laughed. Out of school? Like in the real world?
"Not possible, the Principal would never allow it" I said.
"Thats the thing you know Mrs. Green?" Mrs. Green was the new math teacher. She was young, pretty, and had met with the principal many times for one on one time. I nodded.
"Well she convinced him to let us rent a private beach. Of course we have to earn it and not many of the extremely dangerous people can go but you definitely can" he said. My heart skipped a beat at the thought of the outside world. I don't think I have ever been out there. I mean ive seen it through windows, felt the wind on my skin when one was opened. But never been outside.
"What? You look scared?" Xander asked concern edged his face. I smiled and waved him away.
"Its a bit scary. I mean th outside, I-i have never been out there" I stammered. His eyes went wide with suprise. He then laughed.
"That explains why your so pale" he said and I yelped as he pulled me off the top bunk and onto the bottom. I laid on my back giggling like a Japanese school girl.
"I mean look at this!" He patted my pale stomach. "Your the poster child for Ireland!"
"Stop! That tickles!" I gasped as he suddenly attacks my sides. I burst into fits of laughter and pleaded him to stop.
"XAN!" I yelled trying to push his hands away. My sides hurt from laughing so much. He finally stopped and pulled me up and into his lap. I giggled as he pulled my shirt back down and kissed me.
"Your so freaking awesome, Aleks" he told me. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. I love him so much.

I didn't really believe that we would be going out and to the beach. But here I was, sitting in a bus seat with Xander at my side, Aya on my other. Heading to a beach. Which Xander tried his best to describe for me. Aya rambled about some science project and Xander ignored her completely. I tried my best to listen but, I couldnt wrap my mind around what she was saying. I was to worried about the outside. Would I get hurt? Would Xander get hurt? Could we get lost? And what if there where other humans?
"They rented the entire beach out, no humans will be seen" Aya cut into my thoughts. I looked up at her. She was right? I was okay on that part. But why did I feel so disappointed?

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, lets act like civilized humans" Mrs. Grenoble, our social studies teacher. She was dressed in all black not one inch of flesh showing. Of course you would instantly think, 'oh she is a vampire' No, the thing about the vampires burning in sun is incorrect. She is a werewolf like Xander, except albino. If that makes a difference.
Mrs. Grenoble loaded us off the bus. Aya jumped off the bus and I followed closely behind. I stepped off the safety of the bus and onto some squishy ground. My foot sunk in and I yelped grabbing ahold of Xander.
"Calm down, your fine" he said grabbing my waist. I shivered, god my heart was beating so fast. Xander offered me a small smile.
"Come on, I want to show you the water. And dont worry, the ground wont eat you, I promise." He snickered and I stuck my tongue out at him. I didnt know. Aya cleared her throat and glanced around nervously. I realised what I was doing. Xander had his arms wrapped around my waist and my arms clutched his white t-shirt. Our bodies where so close together. I blushed and jumped back. I saw Xander give a dirty look to a passerby. Aya sighed and grabbed our arms pulling us to the water. It was like a huge bathtub. We stopped at the edge where the water met the earth.
"What are you waiting for?" Aya yelled excitedly and started to strip. She only had her underwear on! I felt someone hit me upside the head. I looked up to find a grumpy Xander.
