CHAPTER 6:FOR THE KISS

~Aleks's POV~

All I could hear was my own breathing as I looked around the darkness. I was completely surrounded by trees. Suddenly a howl ripped through the silence. He was getting closer. Something rustled the undergrowth. My heart beat picked up as I scanned the area. Was that a growl? I spotted two golden glowing orbs.

"Xander?" I called out my voice shaking with fear. All I received was a growl. The beast moved towards me. Exposing its huge black body. I cowered back but I hit a tree. It seemed as if the wolf snickered and smiled exposing his sharp white teeth. It leaped at me and I let out a shrill scream.

"Aleks? Hey, whats wrong?" Instead of sharp claws on my skin it was Xander's soft palm shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see Xanders face. His human one. I looked around, I was in my bed back in my ward. I gave a relieved sigh and looked back to Xander. He gave me a worried look.

"Im fine I just had a nightmare" I said waving him away. He gave me a final look before leaning back. The memories of this morning crashed into my mind. After I had told the head mistress that me and Xander had...kissed she became flustered and let us go. Also she let Xander stay with me. Xander hasnt said anything about what I said. He just seemed thankful that I got him out of trouble. Xander cleared his throat breaking me free from my thoughts.

"Uhm so, about what you said this morning..." He said rubbing his messy hair. He looked attractive when he had just woken up. His hair was a mess from his bed and he had on a white wife beater showing off his muscles. My face turned red at the question and I looked away from him.

"I didnt really think you where a liar" he said looking up at me. Was he ashamed of me?

"I uh, d-dont usually. I just...if you didnt really hae control of your actions. I didn't want you to get in trouble" I responded staring at my hands. He was quiet for a moment.

"I am really truly sorry" he said a hint of regret in his voice. Too be honest I was really nervous about it, but he seemed like he was truly sorry. And I am not sure if its just because of how cute he was or what. I looked over to him. His usually combed back hair fell messily in front of his face hiding his eyes. I gave him a small smile even though he couldnt see it.

"Its okay. It was your wolf, not you" I said softly. He looked up at me and he gave me one of his rare smiles.

"Now about the whole lying thing" he said.

"I know I uh I already feel b-bad enough" I replied looking away. Xander moved towards me and grabbed my chin forcing me to face him. My face turned bright red as he licked his lips.

"Well I guess we should fix that" Oh my glob did he really just say that? What did he mean?! Xander leaned in and quickly gave me a...he uh he kissed me. He pulled away smirking. I felt my face heat up and I hid behind my blankets. He let out a laugh which only made me blush more. Did he really just? Oh my glob, my first kiss. I raised a hand to touch my mouth. His lips where so soft on mine.

"What? Was it bad?" He asked snickering. I quickly removed the blankets and shook my head. He smiled at me. "So I could do it again?"

Oh my glob. I nodded not able to get any words out. Why was he acting like this all of a sudden? Xander pulled my face close to his. And leaned in for another kiss. Suddenly the morning alarm awoke me from my sleep. I looked around confused. I heard Xander get up lazily and walk to the dresser. How did he....oh, just a dream. A very very good dream. I blushed again and hid under the blankets waiting for Xander to get his stuff and go to the bathroom and change like he always does. Only then did I get up and change into my own uniform. Oh my glob, why did it have to be only a dream.
