CHAPTER 4:HUMANS

"Your a-a. ..human? " I asked. His eyes went new ide and he headed for the door. I moved in front of him and blocked his exit. He backed away from me.

Please...im b-begging you" he pleaded. "Dont eat me" I narrowed my eyes.

"If your human why are you here?" I asked he kept backing up until he was against the wall.

"Don't eat me" he whispered. This was ridiculous I wasnt going to eat him. I stepped towards him.

"No!" Aleks screamed and held his hands up in front of his face. He looked horrified. I smiled a bit to myself. I could use this to my advantage.

"I dont know Aleks you look tasty" I said moving right in front of him, pinning his small body to the wall. He shivered under me.

"Pl-please" Aleks begged squeezing his eyes shut.

"Give me one reason not too" I whispered.

"I-I'm all skin and bo-bone" he said and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Fine, I wont eat you" I said backing away. He let out a sigh of relief. "But, you have to tell me how to get out of here" Aleks looked up at me shocked.

"Why do you want that?" He asked quietly.

"Because I dont belong here" I responded and he looked away quickly.

"I d-dont know, sorry" he said. He was such a bad liar. I punched the wall missing his head by centimeters. He winced and looked up at me. I narrowed my eyes and leaned down so our faces where level.

"I think you do" I said threateningly. He looked away from me and shook his head.

"You cant escape, I've tried" he whispered.

"Your a human. I am so much more stronger than you. Tell me Aleks"

"You can't get out"

"TELL ME!" I yelled getting fed up. I was strong, he was weak. Even for a human, he was weak. Why wouldn't he tell me? I looked at Aleks, his hands covered his face, little hiccups came from his shaking body. I backed away from him and stook my hands in my pockets. I may have been a bit to...mean. Aleks said something but it came out muffled.

"I cant hear you" I said. He looked up at me, tears streamed down his red cheeks.

"They will kill you! They shoot you if you try escaping. Its a prison for monsters, they cant let anyone out" he yelled.

"Then why are you still here? If you did try to escape they would have shot you." I retorted. Aleks looked away again before lifting up his shirt exposing his pale stomach. Next to his belly button was a pink star like scar.

"I was shot" he said dropping his shirt. I stared at him not knowing what to say next.

"I guess I will just eat you then" I said.

"W-what? Really?" He asked the scared expression returning.

"Well, what else can you offer?" I asked and he looked around quickly.

"Uhm, OH! Wait, I have something" he shouted before running to the bunk bed and go down on his hand and knees looking under the bed. After a few seconds he brought a little stuff sheep from under the bed. It was fluffy and had blue button eyes. They where the same shade as Aleks's. He stood up an pushed it into my arms.

"That's a-all I have" he said looking at his feet. I patted the sheeps soft head and sighed.

"I guess it will do for now" I said, for some reason I could not stop my heart from beating so fast. Aleks looked up at me and nodded giving me a small relieved smile. My heart skipped a beat and started beating even faster. Was I having a heart attack?

"P-please dont t-tell anyone else" he pleaded returning his gaze elsewhere. The smile dissapeared from his face. I wished it would come back. Wait, why did I wish that? Its just a stupid...beautiful, adorable, day changing smile. God! What the fuck was happening to me?

"Uh..y-yeah" that was the only words I could get out.
