CHAPTER 15: Wolf Ears and Aya Finally Gets It

The Easter Eve specail? Yeah..sure. Again thanks for the likes! I could never do it without you guys. Thank you sooo much! I love you all. Happy Easter's Eve.

~Xander's POV~

It was that time of the month again. God, I will never get used to saying that. I sat in the gym with all the other werewolves. Ugh, I missed Aleks already. I wonder what he was doing.

flashes to Aleks's room where he is trying to get the book out from under the bed again

Oh well, Ill see him tommorow I guess...it's only one night. We all got lead to our cages where they told us to strip down so we dont rip our clothes. Then they locked the door with a clank. I sighed and sat in the middle of the room waiting for the change. Why did this have to happen to me?

I woke up on the cold concrete ground. My limbs were sore as they normally where after a change. I stretched out my arms and yawned. The cage door opened and my clothes were thrown in. I sighed and picked up my boxers. As I went to put them on something fluffy hit my hand. I jumped and spun around. The room was empty. I pulled up the underwear and something felt uncomfterable. A fluffy thing was pushed against my back. I reached for it and pulled it forward. I let out a yelp. Holy fuck...it was connected to me. I have a fucking tail!
I reached up and felt my head. My heart stopped as I felt two fluffy triangles. Oh my god, I have ears also. I tried to calm myself down. Oh my god. What the fuck. Did I not completely change back. I pulled on my shirt and did my best to put my pants on. I banged on the door until it was opened. A man stood in front of me suprised when he saw my ears and tail.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPANED?" I yelled angrily. The man held up his hands in front of me.
"Just breathe, something must have went wrong when you changed back." he said trying to calm me. I growled at him.
"This never happened before I came here now FIX ME" I yelled breathing heavily. He looked around and waved another guy older. This one was short and had glasses. He stepped inside the cage and walked around me inspecting me.
"Its fine, they will go away in a day or two." he said. "Go back to your room"
"Wait, what? No, cant you get rid of them now?" I asked frantically and he merely shook his head and shoved me out of the cage. I growled but kept walking. I felt everyones eyes on me. Oh my fucking god, I swear if they say anything I will kill them. Why did this have to happen to me?

~Aleks's POV~

I sat on the top bunk exsausted. I didnt get any sleep last night. It was just one night away from him but I already missed him so much. The door opened and a grumpy Xander stomped in. I smiled and jumped of the top bunk running to him. I pulled him into a hug. Oh wait, he was probably exsausted.
I let go and backed up. Wait, did he have...ears? And a-a tail?
"Wh-what, wait" I muttered confused. He sighed and walked past me sitting on the bed.
"Just...shut up" he growled. I giggled as his face went a bright red. I walked over to him and gave him a shy kiss.
"I th-think they are c-cute" I said quietly. I frowned at me.
"Nothing on me should be...cute" He sputtered out the last word like it was toxic. I couldnt help but giggle again. I hesitantly reached out a hand and touched one of the little black ears. It was so soft and fluffy. So was his tail. Xander looked up at me unamused as I continued stroking his ears.
"There so soft" I whispered smiling a little. Xander pulled away from me.
"That feels weird. An-and, I would prefer you not even acknowledge their exsistence please and thank you" He said laying down on the bed pulling the blanket over himself.
"So-sorry" I said as there was a knock on the door. Xander froze under the blanket. "Its just Blaine, I promised him I would help him out with something. Get some rest okay?" I said and kissed his head before going to the door.
I opened it and stepped out into the hall. Blaine smiled at me and waved.
"Whats up?" He asked.
"N-not much, how bout you?" I asked smiling shyly.
"Just getting ready to set up the party. Your still helping right?" he asked and I nodded.
"How is Xander, I heard from a few people that something went wrong when he changed back. None of the werewolves can shut up about it." He said a concerned look took over his face. I looked back at the door.
"He seems fine at the moment. Just tired. He di-didnt uhm, change back completely" I replied quietly.
"Oh, well he should be fine in a bit. Come on lets go" Blaine said and started to head to the cafeteria.

We arrived to find about 12 students hanging up streamers and putting up little easter stickers. I smiled to myself. I am so glad Mrs. Green came to the school. She has us doing all these cool things. Including, an easter party. Aya spotted us and walked over.
"Hey Aleks! Does it all look good or what?" she said smiling and looking around. I nodded and a giant grin spread over my face.
"It looks fa-fantastic. Ca-can I help?" I asked and she put a banner in my hands.
"Just hang that over the door. Blaine, make sure he doesnt fall" she said and pointed us to the ladder. Me and Blaine nodded and headed to the door.
Blaine positioned the latter under the door. I handed him the banner to hold as I climbed up. Once I was at the top I steadied myself and looked down at Blaine.
"Feel tall yet?" he snickered. My face turned red as I snatched the tape from his hands.
"Fo-for your information I d-do" I stuttered and he smiled.
"Okay tall guy, just take the banner" Blaine laughed handing me one end. I took it from him and taped it up. He helped me down the latter and moved it to the other side. Once I had that hung up we backed up to examine it. It read: HAPPY EASTER STUDENTS!
I smiled and sat at one of the tables. Blaine sat down next to me.
"So you and Xander planning on coming to the easter party?" Blaine asked me.
"Uh, I-I hope" I said examining the room. It all looked so pretty.
"Good, it will be fun. I might even come." He said. I looked over to him. He was staring at something. I leaned over and tried to find what he was looking at. Finny stood stiring the punch. I looked over to him confused. He had small smile spread over his lips.
"Uh, Blaine?" I asked. He looked over to me still smiling.
"Yes?" he asked. I looked back over too Finny. He placed the bowl on the table and walked away.
"Uhm, no-nothing" I mumbled. Someone walked into the room. I looked up and saw Xander, he was wearing a red beanie, I was guessing to cover his ears. I smiled and stood up.
"Hey! Did you enjoy your nap?" I asked. He shrugged and looked around.
"Looks nice" he mumbled. I could tell he didnt want to be here. Wait, why was he here?
"Is everything okay?" I asked. He nodded and looked at Blaine.
"So, you two just...hanging out?" He asked narrowing his eyes.
"Hey! Your here to help I hope" Aya walked up frowning at Xander. He looked over to her and shrugged.
"Nah, just wanted to come see what Aleks was helping Blaine with" he said. Aya squiented at him and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Oh, so your being an over protective boyfriend" She declared.
"No, im just curious" Xander replied turning away from her. Aya laughed then smiled creepily.
"Tell yourself whatever you want. The truth can not be hidden from me"
"Yeah, sorry, I forgot your some weirdo who can read minds" Xander said and Aya's cocky smile dissapeared.
"Hey, it Easter's Eve, lets try to be happy please" Blaine cut in.  I nodded and smiled appreciating the change of topic.
"So Xani...why are you wearing that hat?" Aya said, the evil grin returning to his face. Xander sighed and glanced over her.
"Is it illegal to wear hats now?" Xander replied lazily. Aya grin grew wider. She looked like the chasire cat. I laughed nervously and moved forward.
"I-I like his ha-hat" I said. Aya gave me a confused look then looked back to Xander.
"You do it and I will bite your hands off" Xander growled and Aya laughed.
"Try me" she said and jumped forward reaching for his hat. Xander ducked and Aya laughed. She moved behind him and ripped it off his head before jumping away from his fist.
"Give that back!" He yelled. The two fluffy dog ears twitched ontop of his head. Everyone was quiet as they stared at them.
"Oh. My. God. THOSE ARE SO CUTE!" Aya gushed doing a little wiggle. Xander's face went bright red as he tried to grab the hat back but Aya dodged him.
"Does the little puppy want his hat back?" Aya giggled waving the beanie in front of his face. Xander growled at her before stomping back to his room. Aya laughed and threw his hat at him.
"Who is the weirdo now?" She yelled. I clenched my jaw as the anger boiled inside of me. I grabbed her arm and she looked back at me suprised.
"That was mean Aya" I said. Her face paled and her eye twitched.
"I-I...what? You heard him, he called me a weirdo first-" I didnt let her finish.
"Thats because your always reading everyones minds!" I yelled at her "We ask you to stop but you still do it! Yo-you are a FREAK!" I yelled. My heart was pounding and my head spun. Aya just stared at me with her mouth hanging open.
"Ha...uh, so I think someone needs my help. Bye" Blaine said and awkwardly walked away. Aya closed her mouth and looked away.
"I-I uh, I'm sorry" she said and walked away. I sighed and clenched my fist. What did I just do? I watched Aya walk over to some blonde girl and stand awkwardly by her. I shook my head and went to leave when I saw a pair of bunny ears on the table. I picked them up on my way out and headed back to the Z ward.
