September 1st Private Airfield 10:00
The jets engines were on as it sat in the hangar waiting to take off, Bruce and Selina were saying their final goodbyes to their friends and families and at this point in time, they didn't know if it was a permanent goodbye or we will see you soon. Bruce was hurting worse then he had ever hurt, which surprised most of the others after everything he has ever been through, but it all came down to this, no parent should ever have to outlive their children as it is a pain far worse then any other.

"Hey Bruce take care of yourself and remember that you taught us to be who we are, so we are going to be fine" Jason exclaimed

"And we are always here and willing to talk if you ever need a voice other then Selina's" Dick followed

"I'm going to miss you guys" Helena said hugging her parents

Just then the jet blew up after a rocket hit, they all turned to see Talia with a rocket launcher and Slade with a group of assassins.

"Great" Helena sighed pressing a button on her watch

"This will be fun" Jason smirked

"What do you two want?" Dick asked walking towards them

"We need you out of the way" Slade spat

"What about us" Jon asked slamming him into the ground from above while Cassie and Lara landed behind him

"I presume you did this" Talia stated looking at Helena

"Maybe, maybe not" Helena shrugged

Before anything could be done, Jon grabbed Cassie's lasso and then Talia and flew her way up into the sky.

"Let me go!" Talia demanded

"You sure you want me to let go?" Jon asked smugly

"What do you want?" Talia asked

"Where is he?" Jon questioned

"Who?" Talia replied

"Damian, where the hell are you hiding him" Jon screamed

"He's, he's...you're never going to find him" Talia spat stabbing kryptonite into his side and they both fell

Talia used Jon as a shield as they plummeted towards the concrete, he left a dent on the tarmac. The Lara and Cassie were dealing with Slade and the Assassins, but as soon as Talia was up they retreated leaving them all clueless in the hangar.

"Jon, you okay?" Dick asked

"I'm going to kill her" Jon growled grabbing the kryptonite and throwing it to the side taking off

"What's that about?" Bruce asked

"It's nothing" Lara stated

"Something is going on here" Tim exclaimed

"It's nothing really, we should get going" Cassie stated

"What are you three up to?" Dick asked

"Dick really it's nothing" Helena replied

"You're in on it too" Jason questioned

"Mom, Dad you have a flight to catch, thank god we have a second jet" Helena said nervously

"Yeah, we must get going" Selina said in agreement wanting to get Bruce out of Gotham

"We will call when we land" Bruce stated

Bruce and Selina walked to the other jet, they boarded it and then let the autopilot take off and fly them to their destination while the family, Lara and Cassie stood and watched.

"Now your going to tell us what's going on" Cass stated

"We think Damian's alive" Cassie exclaimed

"Or is dead and his body is being held somewhere" Helena followed

"And we didn't want to say anything in front of Bruce in case we were wrong" Lara stated

"Okay, where's the proof?" Tim asked

"Catch" Helena exclaimed throwing something at Tim

"His insignia, where'd you find this" Tim asked

"The building that exploded" Helena replied

"We checked that place a thousand times" Steph said

"We were looking for Damian, not this" Helena replied

"So he wasn't in the building, he was on the building" Dick exclaimed

"Exactly" Lara and Cassie stated in unison

"So why is the Boy Steel taking so hard" Jason questioned

"He was supposed to meet Damian, and they were on the phone to each other before hand" Helena said

The Family headed back to the cave and suited up in order to begin a new fresh search, they were heading back to the explosion site with a pair of fresh eyes and were looking for clues instead of Damian this time around. However once there the rooftops around them were occupied by assassins, they were surrounded.

"Who's ready to fight them" Jason asked

"Always" Helena replied

"Oracle, you there?" Dick asked

"You guys are useless without me, I am always here to stop you from making mistakes" Babs stated

The assassins jumped off the rooftops and began l aping at the Bats, once they began fighting something oddly familiar began to happen.

"They are all fighting the exact same" Tim exclaimed

"As if they're the same person" Cass stated

"As if they're Damian" Helena said in realisation

"Okay then we just need to remember how to defeat the only person in the family we can rarely defeat" Steph laughed

"Damian has his weaknesses" Helena smirked lunging at an assassin

The fight raged on and on and seemed to last forever but finally the Batfamily came out on top, not without some scratches and bruises.

"Okay let's see under the mask" Dick exclaimed taking the mask off an assassin

"Jeez, they don't have faces" Tim stated

"That's just weird, how do they fight" Steph questioned

"I don't know, but the more pressing question is why is Talia working with Slade, and what do they want" Dick stated

"Yeah that partnership is weird, Talia and Ra's never got got along with him" Jason said taking a seat on the rubble

"Where'd Jon go after he took off, we may need his knowledge" Tim said

"Jon wouldn't know anything" Jason stated

"Actually Damian has told him quite a lot about himself and I assume Talia" Helena replied

"How would you know that" Cass asked

"He knows how to get into Damian's secret rooms" Helena stated

"We need Jon" Dick exclaimed

The Batfamily headed back to the cave after finding nothing, Barbara set up search routines across all systems looking for any signs of Damian, Talia or Slade while Helena headed back to the Apartment where she sat with Cassie, Lara and Jon and they began hatching their own plan to find Damian.
