August 8th Gotham City 23:59
Athanasia sat atop Wayne tower waiting for it to strike twelve, her plans were falling into position. All the heroes thought she was up to something devious and malicious, while she was, they thought her intentions were too which they weren't. They were more of a call to bring her brother home so they could rule the world side by side the way they used to dream about.

"Happy Birthday Brother, come blow out your candles" Athanasia said into the wind pressing a button as it became August 9th

She watched as the city went up in the flames, the skyscrapers representing the candles and the ground the cake. She had hidden bombs around the city and they began going off one by one and she could hear the screams from a top her perch. She stood up and jumped off the tower to continue onto the next stage of her plan.

{~Meanwhile~}

Damian and Jon were fast asleep and so were the twins, that was until both their phones started going haywire. The twins didn't wake since they were in a different room. They both tiredly sat up looked at each other and then grabbed their phones and went through the alert that had been set out.

"Happy Birthday to me" Damian sighed

"Don't worry it will be" Jon replied

"Thanks Kent, I'm going to get the bag prepared. Your parents are probably awake call your Mother ask if we can drop the twins off" Damian said getting up

"Will do" Jon replied

While Jon spoke with his Mother, Damian had made his way to the kitchen where he began to get the Twins bag ready. He was just finishing when he noticed something in their front door as he walked back to their room.

"Jonathan" Damian said

"Why'd you use my full name?" Jon asked

"Scan that before anyone touches it" Damian replied

"It's just a letter, it says you are cordially invited to the Wayne-Al-Ghul Birthday party in Arkham" Jon read

"Disintegrated that now, I don't trust it" Damian stated

"Neither do I" Jon said firing up his heat vision

They dropped the twins off with Lois before heading to the Watchtower where there was already a meeting under way, the meetings stopped however when they walked in.

"Nice suits" Jason said trying not to laugh

Damian was wearing a Robin uniform but it was black and grey with a Bat symbol instead of an 'R' with a House of El shield in the middle of it and Jon's was a Superman suit with a Bat around the 'S' insignia

"Don't test me Todd, it's 1am on my least favourite day of the year. I may still turn evil" Damian spat

"Okay no more hostilities then what's already at hand" Bruce ordered

They went on with the meeting before disbanding and descending on Gotham to clear it up while a select group Damian, Jon, Bruce, Helena, Cassie and Zack headed to Arkham. When they arrived everything seemed normal, everyone was locked up and accounted for, but they happened upon a trail of blood and followed it into the underground and abandoned part of the asylum.

"Good you made it, I didn't think you'd read the invitation" Athanasia grinned

"I didn't" Damian replied

"I see, well welcome to our party dear brother" Athanasia stated

"Athanasia this madness stops right now" Bruce exclaimed

"Father, it doesn't stop until I get what I want" Athanasia spat

"Then what do you want" Helena asked

"My brother to rise back into his position, and rule the world with me" Athanasia replied

"Sister that was Grandfathers vision, the raving of a mad man who should have died centuries ago, and Mother she was doing the only thing she knew how to do and your making her mistakes all over again" Damian stated

"Just let me give you your present before you dismiss me" Athanasia asked

She clicked her fingers and Talia was dragged out into the middle of the floor from the shadows. Her head hung low but you could see the pain that she was in. Damian took a step forward.

"What have you done?" Damian asked

"Judgement was passed, she has betrayed the League one too many times, and your gift is finishing her off. You know you want too" Athanasia replied

"I won't" Damian replied

"That is a shame" Athanasia said shooting Talia through the back

"MOTHER!" Damian screamed catching her as she fell

"I..I'm sorry" Talia said shutting her eyes slowly

"Your going to die" Damian spat

"Don't" Jon called grabbing him

"What did you need the nuclear material for?" Cassie asked

"To make these of course" Athanasia replied revealing a whole load of warheads as well as a few kryptonite infused weapons

"At least she isn't poisoning the people" Zack stated

"No I'd rather kill them, and I am going to enjoy killing you" Athanasia laughed pointing a kryptonite blade at Jon

She jumped down to the ground from her perch and landed.

"Please don't take this personally any of you. It has to be done and I was the chosen after the chosen one left" Athanasia sighed

"You have good in you don't do this" Jon exclaimed

"So what your saying is there is good in evil, so Damian and I are Yin and Yang, I have good in me and he has evil in him all I need to do is release it, and killing you is the key" Athanasia smirked

"Daughter don't" Bruce ordered getting in front of Damian and Jon

"Don't daughter me, you have never been around. You just a stranger" she said exclaimed pushing him back

She then lunged forward the blade in front of her at Jon, Jon braces for the impact by strengthening and solidifying his stance but it never came he opened his eyes and saw Damian in front of him.

"Why would you do that, I can take a hit" Jon exclaimed

"Not when the blade is kryptonite and poisoned" Damian stated

"And you can" Jon stated

"I made a promise to you remember, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part" Damian exclaimed taking the blade out of his abdomen and throwing it to the side before falling over himself. They could all see the poison beginning to course through his veins.

"Your going to die now" Jon screamed with his eyes flaming red
