Jon was still half hunched over as he made his way down the only open passageway after Talia had set off the explosives. His powers were in and out as he has had no direct conflict with the sun, he could still win a fight if he had to. He walked for what seemed like an eternity to him, but in reality was ten minutes before he came to a dark open room. It was lit with evenly spaced candelabras around the room, he walked in and it took a second for his eyes to adjust, he looked around until he saw a curtain splitting the room in two. He walked up to it and pulled it down revealing a monstrous machine and...

"Dami" Jon exclaimed dropping to his knees

"Your tricks won't work on me Mother" Damian said weakly and without opening his eyes

Damian looked sickly, he was paler then Jon ever remembered him being. He also had way more scars then Jon every remembered seeing, Damian had a lot of scars from before he was Robin and got some while being Robin, but there were a multitude of new ones now.

"No Dami, open your eyes it's me, I found you. It took way too long but I am here now" Jon stated standing up

"No...no not, not again" Damian spat still with eyes shut

"Damian Wayne open your eyes right now and look at me" Jon exclaimed

"No, it's another tormented trap" Damian cried

Jon stood up and mustered the last of his strength to use his heat vision and cut Damian from the machine he was strapped into. He caught Damian as he fell from his restraints.

"Dami, please open your eyes. I am here you can feel my presence and see me" Jon exclaimed

"If I open my eyes and you're not Jon and just another trick I will kill everyone here" Damian spat fuelling himself with anger

"You won't need to" Jon said kissing him

"B...beloved" Damian sighed with relief

"Hey, long time no see" Jon laughed with tears

"What took you so long" Damian asked attempting to get up but falling back

"I am not a detective like you, it was always going to take me longer, now here take my jumper and let me help you" Jon said helping him up

Jon took the Superboy hoodie off and put it on Damian as they began walking. They walked down another passage but that only lead to more winding pathways.

"Can you not fly, or have you lost your abilities" Damian asked

"No your Mother stabbed with kryptonite and I haven't fully recovered" Jon replied

"Ugh, I need to get out of here and find a sword and kill Wilson and my Mother" Damian stated

"No killing, but I agree we need to get out of here. Ohh and, I don't live with my parents anymore" Jon said

"Wait what?" Damian exclaimed

"I am living with your sister, Cassie and my sister" Jon replied

"That's going to make sneaking around a lot harder" Damian laughed before hunching over with pain

"Yeah it is, let's go" Jon exclaimed

The two walked for another fifteen minutes before finally arriving at a ladder up to a manhole.

"Climb onto my back" Jon said

"What?" Damian asked

"Climb on, I can carry us up" Jon replied

"Tt, fine" Damian said climbing onto him

Jon climbed up the ladder and pushed the manhole cover up and over and then climbed onto the surface. They were still on Arkham Island, but not in area Jon recognised. He felt his powers return and he took off and carried Damian bridal style back to the cave.

"Where the hell is Jon?" Jason exclaimed kicking the computer

"He is in the sewer systems, we just need to go back down" Babs replied

"Or turn around" Jon exclaimed

"Damian!" Dick exclaimed

"I'll get the medbay ready" Tim said running off

"If any of you hug me, you die a slow painful death" Damian stated as he and Jon landed

"It's good to have you back brother" Helena said

"Where is Father?" Damian questioned

"He's gone, he left Gotham. Only a few days ago, it was too much for you not to be here, but now they can come back" Helena replied

"Kyle left as well?" Damian questioned

"Yeah" Jason stated

"Okay get him over here" Tim called

They placed Damian in the MedBay and hooked him up to almost every machine they had to run tests and what not.

"Hello is anybody down here" Alfred called

"Over here" Tim replied not thinking

"Alright does anyone...Good grief Master Damian" Alfred said in complete shock

"Hello Pennyworth, can you take over these clowns don't know what they are doing" Damian said trying not to laugh because it hurt every time he did

"Of course, everyone stand back and Master Jason a cup of Earl grey please" Alfred said stepping forward

"Right away" Jason replied leaving

While this was happening Helena and Jon were sitting at the Batcomputer talking.

"Hey, do you think we should maybe call your Mom and Dad" Jon stated

"Yeah we should have the moment Damian arrived" Helena said

"You seem hesitant" Jon replied

"Yeah because I don't know how to tell them" Helena stated

"Just say whatever feels right" Jon said

Helena pressed a button on the keyboard which began calling her Father and Mother and they answered

"Hey Helena, Jon" Selina said

"Hey" Jon replied

"So what's up?" Bruce asked

"Damian is home" Helena replied

"What?" Selina asked as Bruce seemed to get emotional

"We found him, Talia and Slade had him under Arkham Island" Helena replied

"Where is he?" Bruce asked

"Hello Father" Damian replied limping up behind Jon and Helena before Helena got up and let him sit

"You're, you're really there" Selina stated

"No I am a figment of everyone's imagination" Damian replied sarcastically

"I've missed you son, we are coming home now" Bruce said ending the call

Alfred made Damian go straight to bed for bed rest while the others celebrated his return. Jon and Helena stayed until late before heading back to the Apartment, Jon was reluctant to leave Damian but Damian told him to go, so he did.
