Damian and Jon had been laid out on two tables beside each other and caps were placed on their heads and the caps were connected to the main computer at which DeVoe and Tetch were working. Thawne sped into the room and walked up behind the two.
"Yes, Eobard" DeVoe asked
"Is it ready, it would be ready if you had let me build my device" Thawne replied
"Don't start a who's smarter fight" Tetch exclaimed
"We don't need to, I am" Thawne stated
"You wish Mr.Thawne" DeVoe stated
"Okay will you two stop it, how long until we can start the experiment. The boy of steel will be a great asset for us" Talia stated walking in
"We can begin any moment now, we are just finalising the last bit of code" DeVoe replied
"If you let me do it, it would be done at the speed of light" Thawne stated
"Then do it" Tetch said
Thawne took over and started entering the code into the computer in flash time so it was done for the rest in the blink of an eye.
"Done" Thawne stated smugly
"Tetch start the brain invasion" DeVoe ordered
Tetch started the process but nothing happened
"This is why I didn't want your help" DeVoe said
"This isn't my doing" Thawne fought back
"The cap isn't plugged in properly" Tetch stated
"Then fix it" DeVoe ordered
"They need to be moved closer together there is too much strain on the cable in the current position" Tetch stated
"I'll push them together then" Thawne stated
The two were pushed together right beside each other and the caps were repositioned and they began the procedure again. An electrical shock was administered to the boys and their bodies jumped.
"Dammit" DeVoe exclaimed
"What's wrong" Talia asked
"They are mentally linked but there is no back door" Tetch replied
"Unplug them" DeVoe ordered
"That will kill The Al-Ghul boy" Thawne stated
"Don't you dare unplug him" Talia ordered placing her hand on her sword
"Then we need to find a new way" DeVoe sighed
Gotham City 22:45
Tim was out walking with Bernard, Jason and Cass around the City. After their last encounter with the League they had only picked up small amounts of activity but not a lot. They had just come out of a cinema and were walking towards a restaurant when Tim was tripped by something down and alley.
"Who's there" Cass asked
"Bernie get behind us" Jason ordered
"Why?" Bernard asked
"I am not going to ask again" Cass stated
"Us" a multitude of voices replied
"Why me?" Tim asked standing up
"Your the easiest" a voice replied from a fire escape above them
"D...Damian" Jason exclaimed
"Hey big bro, why'd you hide all the villains, well why did you try to you just gathered them for me I am on my way now" Damian replied
