Last weekend felt like heaven getting to spend so much time with Chris. It felt even more special because I could see a sweet bond between Chris and Eli forming. So this week seemed to drag on with the lack of physical contact with Chris. I know I'm falling deep with no intentions of stopping.

Chris's schedule at the fire house this week kept him really busy. Between 48 hour shifts, and emergency calls, I've only been able to keep in contact with calls, texts, and the occasional Facetime. So when I got a text from Chris inviting me and Eli over to his house after dinner, I of course jumped at the chance.

But now still at work and excited about the prospect of being back in Chris's arms tonight, time seems to have slowed down. His text also said he had someone very important to introduce us to, so my mind has been going a mile a minute trying to figure out if he's introducing us to some family member of his. All I have met has been Scott, and that was by pure chance at that point.

After my work day is finally over, and I close the office, I head out to pick up Eli from my parents house. Once he's in my car, he excitedly tells me all about his day until he notices that we aren't heading to the pizza restaurant.

"Mom, where are we going?"

I look back at him through the rear view mirror. "We're going home to change and pack a small bag for the night. Chris is picking us up before pizzas, and then taking us to his house. He said he had someone important to introduce us to, and said we could have a sleep over with him."

At the mere mention of Chris, Eli is bouncing in his seat. I'm not entirely sure he heard every thing I said in his excitement, but I'm sure he'll figure it out once we get home.

Once we are home, we both head to our rooms to change. I put on a pair of black leggings, a white v-neck t-shirt with a light wash denim jacket, and black vans. I grab a small bag and pack the essentials I would need as well as some clothes for the next day. I walk to Eli's room and see him finishing getting dressed. He put on a pair of dark wash jeans, a white t-shirt with a plaid orange, blue and white button up on top and his black vans. I remind him to pick some pajamas and clothes for the over night stay, and that's when it finally hits him that we are staying with Chris, and he couldn't be more excited. I laugh at his over excitement, as I watch him rummage through his dresser for what he will need.

I'm packing up his bathroom essentials when I hear the doorbell ring. I head out to the door, and smile as soon as I open it to see those beautiful blue eyes I have been missing this week.

"Hey." I exhale as a sort of relief floods my body now that he's here.

Chris moves closer to me and pulls me over to him by my hips. He crashes his lips against mine in a passionate and breathtaking kiss. I reciprocate almost immediately with the same amount of passion.

We're breathless when we let go of each other's lips. I'm still in his arms not wanting to be anywhere but there. "Hey. I've been wanting to do that all week long."

I giggle with a slight blush at his words. "You and me both."

He gives me his sexy side smile as he brings his lips back to mine in a softer, but not any less more passionate, kiss. I open my mouth to let out tongues entangle and do the dance they have missed doing all week long. We only separate when we hear a loud "Chris" from behind us.

Chris laughs as he lets go of me and turns his attention to Eli. "Hey little man!"

Eli runs to Chris who easily picks him up in his arms. "I'm so happy to see you again!"

Chris widely grins. "I'm happy to see you too! I've missed you and your mom this week. The station was very busy."

He sees that we are all packed up and grabs our things and Eli's seat, and starts taking them to his car with Eli right behind him. I close up the house after grabbing my purse, and head over to his car. Chris has already put our stuff in and gotten Eli settled in the car. I can't help but smile at his attentiveness of my son, it is definitely something I truly appreciate.
