Things I wish we still had from Medieval times:
Sword fights
Knights on horseback
Fancy Balls
Quests
Dragons (okay, not real, but I want a dragon like in Eragon.)
Less cities, more room to ride horses (or dragons) and trips into town that took weeks at most
Thing I don't wish we had from Medieval Times:
The plague
Showering is minimal
Toilets were buckets
NO WIFI
Or devices that need wifi
NO BOOKS (at least in the Dark Ages)
If someone even thought you practiced witchcraft, SHE'S A WITCH BURN HER
Swords are dangerous
NO HARRY POTTER
OR MORTAL INSTRUMENTS
OR PERCY JACKSON
OR HUNGER GAMES
OR FICTION, REALLY
THEY JUST WROTE SMART STUFF
No chocolate
Or sugar
Lots of poverty (well, more...)
Even less of women's rights
GIRLS CAN'T BE KNIGHTS
AND DRAGONS AREN'T REAL
AND THOSE FANCY DRESSES ARE HARD TO MOVE IN
Food's to not good either
So... yeah. I just want a dragon and a sword fight with no rules during a quest for the secret of life.
