I think that fear of failure is the worst possible fear. If you're afraid of heights, stay away from them or easily face your fear. Same with clowns or the dark. But with fear, the only way to face it or stay away from it is too succeed, and it is said that a fear of failure is the only thing keeping you from succeeding. You're stuck, because to face it you must succeed, but to succeed you need to face your fear.
