You know when you finish a series are you just stare off into space as you realize you no longer have that world to escape to? Everyone else's loves continue on normally, but you may be sitting in your ordinary classroom staring at a useless presentation wishing you were somewhere else as you read the last sentence (which so happens to be a cliffhanger or sorts) and feel like you're going to cry later wen you're alone an the painful emotion hits you?

I hate how series end with a total cliffhanger like "and they flew off into the unknown"
I get that if you're going to write another book
But the end of a series? Please don't. Epilogues are great
HoO and Eragon end with that "into the unknown"
